Manhattan Portage, known for their sturdy messenger bags, is celebrating their 3oth anniversary this year, and is celebrating by selling some hand-painted 3D messenger bags that look good regardless of whether or not you have the glasses to go with them.
The images are from Djembe & Canvas, an artist who specializes in hand-painted 3D art. For 30 years in business, Manhattan Portage has 30 bags available, ranging in type and design. Each of the images is of a famous New York landmark or cultural attraction, and each one pops in 3D. You’ll need glasses to get the 3D effect, of course, but two pairs are included with every bag purchased.
Manhattan Portage uses military-grade materials while remaining lightweight and comfortable, so they are a little on the pricey side. That said, the artwork is top-notch, and the bags should last you for a long, long time – if you need a new one, they look worth it if you have the funds. Each bag in the collection is limited edition and individually numbered, and can be found in Manhattan Portage’s store in New York City. If you don’t live in New York City, you can still email them to order one for yourself. The bags range in price from $395 to $545.
