If you’re looking for the next big thing in trendy headphones, you just might find it in Bang & Olufsen’s Beoplay headphones and earphones. Bang & Olufsen says that these new headphones are aimed at young, creative professionals. But it’s obvious that Bang & Olufsen is taking aim at the Beats audience with their latest headphones.
The over-ears H6 is made of anodized aluminum is swathed in cowhide leather, with a vaguely Art Deco font providing the logo on the earpieces and they have definitely their own vibe going for them. And along the lines of stressing style, they teamed up with a famed designer to nail down the look and feel of their product – namely, Danish designer Jakob Wagner. Bang & Olufsen has also spent a lot of time making sure that the headphones are comfortable and are able to conform to multiple ear shapes. They have managed to achieve this by using super soft leather cushions combined with memory phone. The company has also worked hard to ensure that the headphones are lightweight so that they are comfortable for extended periods of listening time. During our brief hands-on time with the H6 we appreciated the top notch build quality of the headphones – these headphones seem built to last. And we also liked the soft ear cushions. On the sonics side, we noticed a very strong mid-range.
The new H3 in-ears are also built with powerful sonics, to that effect, they have packed in a 10mm driver. The H3 in-ears are also made of aluminum, and they sport 26 holes in each headphone to help guarantee ventilation. The package also comes with four soft earbuds so that they can fit every ear.
