Kids aren’t the only ones with their eyes glued to the next summer of fun. Beats by Dr Dre is preparing with a bright, shiny new line of Mixr headphones, which will be hitting Target stores very soon.
The Beats Neon Mixr headphones, which are the fruits of a collaboration with DJ David Guetta, are Beats’ more lightweight and durable offering, and they are getting a splash of neon ahead of the summer months. They’ll be available in neon shades of blue, green, yellow, orange, and pink, and will initially be sold in Target stores and on Target’s online store. We got some hands-on time with the headphones earlier this week. By and far, Beats certainly knows how to be ahead of the trends, as everyone was already rocking some neon fashion to match their even louder Neon Beats Mixr headphones.
The overall construction of the headphones hasn’t changed nor have any of the actual drivers that reproduce sound. But folks lets get real…how many who actually plan on buying the Mixr headphones are actually going to listen to them…
The pink pair will stay a Target exclusive until June 17, while the others will be Target exclusives until June 2. The other benefit of getting a pair from Target would be the 5 percent discount for those using a Target REDcard.
A brand-new light, bright set of headphones will run you $250. You can order a pair of the new neon Beats Mixr headphones from the Target online store, or you can find them in stores on May 19.
