Sprint has been getting a cold shoulder from Windows Phone 8, at least until today. The company is finally offering customers their first Windows Phone 8 device, the HTC 8XT. The HTC 8XT is essentially the same signature device as the original HTC 8X, but it is also the first Windows Phone to offer HTC BoomSound. HTC BoomSound features dual front-facing stereo speakers along with a dedicated amplifier. The result is an experience that promises to deliver bigger sound with less distortion and more detail. Beats Audio is also still included in the 8X for a superior audio experience when using headphones.

To top it all off, the HTC 8XT is also eco-friendly. To that effect, it’s super energy efficient, ULE Platinum Certified, and even its packaging is 98% recycled.

The HTC 8XT for Sprint will be available on July 19th for $99 with a 2 year contract, after a $50 mail-in rebate.
