We got a sneak peak at Roxy’s new fall fitness line and loved it. It’s got the active woman covered for every sport. High end sport fabric, sleek designs, cute colors, and very flattering shapes define this line. Here’s a few we tested out ourselves and loved:
Yoga Pants are the most flattering pant there is for the back end and these pants live up to the reputation. The heavy weight brushed jersey material is so incredibly soft that I never wanted to take them off. I even used them for hiking, but the material is more suited to the controlled environment of a yoga class, as it is easily frayed otherwise. The flatlock seams make for a 100% friction and chafe free wear. The foldover top of the pants are very easy to adjust throughout any exercise. The pant leg flares out for a great look, and has a 34″ inseam, which is exceptionally long. If you are short this maybe bothersome. Overall, I love these super breathable, soft, and attractive pants. $78
Ultra light and breathable. It has easy earphone cord access, and can even zip up on itself into a tiny little ball for easy transport in a pocket. Although not completely waterproof, this comfy crinkle jacket will slick off light rain with its water repellent woven fabric. The elastic gathering at the back and arms creates a slimming effect while allowing for plenty of air circulation. This works great on a bike, to a nice layering effect, that will keep flecks of mud. This jacket runs at $88.
I loved the twisted tank for just about everything. The material is very soft and comfortable against the skin, being mostly polyester with a touch of Spandex. The synthetic build means great moisture wicking while maintaining a nice firm shape. The Flatlock seams made chafing a nonissue. The tank has deep cuts both in the front and the back, for the shoulders to move freely, and the arms in the front to not chafe. The design is very comfortable but necessitates wearing either a shirt underneath or a sports bra (as pictured above). Another cool perk is the side tie on the bottom left. It gathers into a cute little bow to keep the bottom of the shirt wear you want it. This shirt is great for running, climbing, kayaking, or even just around town. $48
Workout shirt, meet 80′s Punk Rock Tee with the Reach Tee. This 100% Polyester blend is superbly breathable, almost like you are wearing nothing at all. This of course means that you really need to pair it with a cute undershirt or sports bra, due to it’s uber sheerness. The sublimiated graphic on the front takes up a large portion of the shirt, distracting from the sheerness and adding in a splash of style. Similar styles available at Roxy for $44.
This is one of the cutest wetsuits around. When on it looks more like a one piece swim suit then a wetsuit. It is rare to see wetsuits with such style. Normally they leave you feeling more like a seal than a mermaid. The real eye catcher on this design is the gentle curve of the back opening. The arm sleeves come together with an adjustable tie. Now getting into it requires a good amount of wrangling, but what wetsuit doesn’t? The suit comes in at 92% Nylon, 8% Elastane, Hyperstretch 2mm Neoprene, for a very warm wear. This will keep your core a good temp. Just the first few minutes of wearing it I felt much warmer. If you like to go in a body of water that is just too warm for a full length suit in winter, but too cold for a regular swimsuit, this is perfect. The cut of the arms makes range of motion very comfortable. Paddling is a piece of cake in this. And it has a cute little key stash pocket so you don’t have to hide your keys under the wheel well while you are in the water anymore. This is one well constructed suit for $88.
Overall, we are more than impressed with the quality of Roxy’s latest line of fall fitness clothing. These designs are well though out, and constructed for ease of activity with a nod to fashion. We look forward to seeing more.
