This new VoyVoy Summer Oxford shirt manages to beyond being just a shirt – it is made for smartphones, as much as a shirt can be made for smartphones.
The front breast pocket is a smartphone sleeve instead of a traditional pocket, but the real winner is the square of microsuede material that you can use to clean your glasses or smartphone. It’s hidden in the inside of the shirt down near the waist, which is a little unfortunate, because it looks like it won’t be accessible if you have your shirt tucked in. But, tucking your shirt in isn’t comfortable, anyway. Maybe this is VoyVoy’s subtle way of encouraging a more casual world. I’m all for it.
On that note, the waist is tailored, so the shirt won’t look horribly overlong if you have it untucked, either. The sleeves have single-button cuffs, and there’s a single-button collar that is stiff enough to be left unbuttoned without devolving into a fashion crime. The buttons are mother-of-pearl, so you won’t need to worry about them cracking or breaking in the wash.
The VoyVoy Summer Oxford comes in light blue for $98. It’s currently sold out, but you can sign up to be notified by email when the stock is replenished.
