If you didn’t have your fill of bargain basement Android Tablets – Monster is shockingly taking a stab at it. Yes, the brand behind A/V cables, headphones, and just about everything audio related is dipping its toe in these muddy fractured waters. What will make this tablet different and yet still affordable? Well it will be Monster’s dedication to the sound experience. The Monster M7 (7-inch) and M10 (10.1 inch) tablets will be the only HD Android-based tablets with Time Correct Bluetooth and aptX .

The Monster M7 tablet will sport a non-skid surface that is available in a choice of eight colors to match the Monster N-TuneTM headphone line. These colors include Candy Blueberry, Candy Tangerine Orange, Candy Grape Purple, Candy Apple Red, Candy Lime Green, Cotton Candy Pink, Frost White and Midnight Black.

The Monster M7 tablet is exclusively available online at Walmart.com for $149.00. The Monster M10 will launch later in the fall, and its price and specifications are still TBD. In any case, this is an interesting path for Monster to take, but it could also potentially make them a favorite amongst the ‘People of Walmart.’
