We Are Totally Flipping Out Over the Sony VAIO Fit multi-flip PC

Sony has announced that three new Vaio Fit notebooks are on their way to Europe, all featuring 360 degree hinges, making them great laptop-tablet hybrid devices.

The Vaio Fit 13A, 14A, and 15A all run on 4th generation Intel core processors, and with the 15A, you also have the option of adding an NVIDIA GeForce GT 735M graphics processor. They’ll all have 1920 x 1080 resolution TRILUMINOS displays, again with an optional bump for the 15A – up to a 2880 x 1620 resolution display. You can get up to a 512 GB SSD on all three, and on the 14A and 15A, you have the option of going for a bigger hybrid 1 TB HDD. All three c0me with 8 GB of DDR3L RAM, with the option of taking that to 16 GB with the 15A.

But, the 15A doesn’t get to have all the fun. The 13A has its own exclusive feature – a high-powered rear-facing camera. It’s an 8 MP camera that comes with an Exmor RS for PC sensor. All three will have front-facing HD webcams, powered by Exmor R for PC sensors. NFC support can be found on all three, and we have nothing specific about battery sizes yet for any of the new Fit notebooks.

The Vaio 13A, 14A, and 15A are looking like very nice hybrid notebooks, and those of you in Europe can expect to see them for yourselves sometime this autumn. No word on pricing yet for any of the three.
