Plenty of greeting card retailers and ecard etailers are jumping on the you-order-it-we’ll-send-it approach, marrying the convenience of picking out cards online or on the go with the old-timey feelings of sending someone a physical card.
So, bringing the same idea to the world of invitations is just the logical next step, right? Enter Evite, who has been in the digital invitations game ever since the ’90s. They’re now introducing Evite Ink, where you can pick from a catalog of invitation designs for birthdays, baby showers, weddings – the whole spectrum of things that cause people to mass together. Those designs can be customized with your own messages. There’s also a few designs that leave room for you to upload your own photo to the invitation. Then, you provide the addresses of the recipients-to-be, and Evite does the rest, printing out your invitations and mailing them.
Evite Ink is out now as a beta. All of the invitations will be printed on 4” x 6”cards, and will run you $2 each plus postage.
