They already used the shrink ray on the Solemate – might as well get out the supersize ray while they’re at it. The Jabra Solemate Max is a bigger, more powerful version of the Jabra Solemate, and it’s set to offer big sound for a portable Bluetooth speaker.
The Solemate Max, which disconcertingly looks like it’s staring at you, packs in two tweeters, two woofers, and a bass slave that Jabra custom-designed themselves. That’s all hi-fi sound backed by digital signal processing, so it should sound a lot better than your average Bluetooth speaker.
Connectivity isn’t just limited to Bluetooth – there is a micro USB port, which you can also use to charge a device, and support for NFC. Battery life is being put at about 14 hours, so your beach party won’t be getting cut short by a dead speaker.
No word yet on pricing or availability, just that the Solemate Max is “coming soon.”
