Smartphones, we can’t live without them. But their batteries? Well those we certainly could live without because of how frustrating they can be. After all, there is nothing worse then being out and about and having your phone’s battery go dead on you. We have all been there – searching frantically for a way to power our phone back up.
Duracell recently reached out to eYeka, a crowd sourcing community, and had them visualize how anxious people can get when their phone runs out of juice. The resulting video involves monkeys, dead smartphones, and it’s all pretty hilarious.
In case you’re not familiar with them, Duracell’s PowerMat lets you charge your iPhone and other smartphones wirelessly, just by laying them flat on the PowerMat. It’s kind of like magic. And in addition to the Powermat, Duracell also offers universal portable batteries that can power just about any portable device, besides your smartphone. So you might even want to call them universal anxiety relievers?
