I’m going to be straight with you, I’m not sure how many of you actually remember floppy discs fondly. It probably depends a lot on whether or not you ever played The Oregon Trail on a 5.25”. Which should be everyone? I don’t know, I’m trying not to make assumptions.
Anyway, I guess the floppy is now going to start giving the cassette tape a run for its money in the retro swag department. For starters, there’s this Instapic Floppy, a picture frame done up like a floppy disc. It doesn’t just look like a floppy, either – it’s actually 5.25” x 5.25”, so credit for historical accuracy. Unfortunately, that means it only holds 4” x 4” pictures, which is kind of an awkward size, but I’m sure fans of the Oregon Trail (ahem, floppy disc lovers) can make it work.
The Instapic Floppy is cheap enough for you to stuff a few stockings with it, too – just $10 each.
