HARMAN is ready to rock at CES this year, unveiling a brand new start for the Infinity brand of speakers and a new partnership with Linkin Park.
The Infinity brand, which came into being in 1968, is getting a relaunch this year with the help of Linkin Park. The band won’t just be giving the new speakers a publicity bump, though – they’ll be actively involved in the design of the new line for the foreseeable future. The first fruits of that partnership, as seen at CES, are the Infinity Reference Loudspeakers series and the Infinity One wireless sound system.
HARMAN is going light on details for now, but we know the Infinity Reference Loudspeakers series will feature nine different speakers, all with premium black finishes and tapered side panels. Those nine speakers will include two bookshelf models, two floor models, two center channel models, one surround model, and two powered subwoofer models. The Infinity One wireless sound system will be a portable wireless speaker with high-quality audio and about 10 hours worth of battery life.
Unfortunately, we don’t know when we can expect these new speakers, or how much they’ll cost. HARMAN is saying they’ll announce those details later this year.
