Samsung’s next next big thing and its wristwatch buddies are officially going to be here very soon. AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have all released pricing and availability information for the Galaxy S5 and the new Galaxy Gear series of smartwatches, all coming in a matter of weeks.
The Galaxy S5 can be pre-ordered from AT&T as of today, for $200 with a two-year contract or $650 unlocked. AT&T Next payment plans are also available, at $25 per month for 18 months or $32.50 per month for 12 months. The Galaxy Gear smartwatches will also be available for pre-order today. The Galaxy Gear 2 costs $300, while the Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and the Galaxy Gear Fit both cost $200 each. And, if you’re planning on buying both phone and watch at the same time, good news – you can get $50 off the price of the Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo when you grab an S5.
The Galaxy S5 will be available from Sprint starting on Friday, April 11. On the same day, Sprint will also be offering Samsung Gear Fit, Samsung Gear 2 Neo and Samsung Gear 2. Preorders are already available. The Samsung Galaxy S 5 will retail for $199.99 with a new line or eligible upgrade, two-year service agreement, after a $50 mail-in rebate. The Samsung Gear Fit will retail for $199.99, the Samsung Gear 2 Neo for $199.99 and the Samsung Gear 2 for $299.99. And for a limited time only, customers who purchase Galaxy S 5 on a Sprint Family Plan with Easy Pay will also get Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 free with activation on a data plan with a two-year service agreement. Sprint customers can add a data plan for Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 to their account with rate plans starting at $10 per month.
The Samsung Galaxy S 5 will be available to pre-order online and in-store starting March 24th, and will launch in T-Mobile stores on April 11th. The Galaxy S 5 will be offered for $0 down and an introductory pre-order price of 24 equal monthly payments of $27.50.
