ExOfficio’s Give-n-Go Travel Underwear Review: Underwear Just Got a Serious Upgrade

DSC07101

There hasn’t been much innovation in the underwear industry lately; this is why we jumped at the chance to check out ExOfficio’s Give-n-Go Travel Underwear. These brand new underwear are lightweight, odor resistant, absorbent, and quick drying. All they take is a quick sink wash to restore their freshness and cleanliness. Oh, and on a more intimate note, they’re comfortable too!

Having reviewed the ExOfficio’s Give-n-Go travel underwear, all of their differentiating features just seem obvious. What’s taking the rest of the underwear industry so long to catch up? The Give-n-Gos can be treated like any other everyday underwear, they’re simply optimized for travel when you’re more likely to be wearing underwear for longer than expected.

The ExOfficio Sports Mesh model we reviewed are made of 92% nylon and 8% lycra. They’re very light, very soft, and probably the most comfortable pair of underwear I own. To prevent odor-causing bacteria, they’re treated with Aegis Microbe Shield.

I didn’t go traveling with the ExOfficio Give-n-Gos, but for the sake of the review I showered with them. I rinsed them with soap and water, let them dry for a bit, and reapplied. Surprisingly, a quick rinse was all it took to get these boxers back to their freshest state. The ExOfficio underwear lineup is on the pricey side, but they’re no more expensive then most designer underwear. Men’s Give-n-Go underwear start at $20 and go up to $38, depending on style and fit preference. The ExOfficio Women’s underwear are a bit less and start at $11.92 for a Give-N-Go thong. There’s a bunch of different types of ExOfficio undergarments available. You may be able to find your underwear of choice for a bit less on Amazon.com.
