Beats has been very busy! Apple news aside, the company is still pumping out new headphones and unique one-off pieces transforming their headphones into works of art. They just debuted the next generation of the Solo on-ear headphones, the Solo2.
Now, Beats has partnered with Snarkitecture, a collaborative practice created by Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen. Snarkitecture operates in between the disciplines of art and architecture and specializes in re-purposing mostly architectural pieces to make them do the unexpected. So how does Beats fit into this? Specifically the Studio headphone?
Both teams seem to share the love of music and have decided to stripaway all of the familiarity of the Beats Studio, even the logos and display the Beats Studio in its purest form. If a pair of headphones can be naked…this is what it would look like.
The finishing touch? Snarkitecture’s famed Pillow made from white cultured marble. Who knew the Beats Studio could look so revealing in white. The Snarkitecture X Beats retails for $600 and will be available on June 9.
