Dell’s XPS 13 is the World’s Smallest Laptop

Dell is announcing its smallest in the world 13″ laptop, XPS 13. It has a beautifully brimming edge-to-edge display that looks as borderless as an infinity pool. This little guy can keep going on one full charge for 15 hours due to its slender physique, all the while maintaining some killer functionality.

Utilizing Windows 8.1, the XPS 13 works off of a 5th generation Intel Core processor. It comes optional with an UltraSharp Quad HD+ infinity display, using 5.2mm bezels, resulting in a brilliantly incredible 5.7 million pixels, so movie or game, everything shows up crisp and vivid. All this comes in at a dainty 2.6 lbs. It also has an SD card slot, a backlit keyboard, and a purchasable option of a separate 12,000 mAh battery extension pack for about $100. This will buy you several more hours of battery life.

The XPS 13 starts at $800 and gets you the above mentioned items and then some. It comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, two USB 3.0 ports, a Core i3 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of solid state storage, a Mini DisplayPort, SD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. From there it reaches up into the $1300 range but the perks are pretty cool.

The XPS 15 comes standard with the UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD touch display. This means more than 8 million pixels, which makes it the highest resolution panel available on a 15-inch laptop today. It too follows the power-in-a-tiny-frame form factor of the XPS 13.
