If you happen to not care for awards shows, you might have missed the latest trailer for the live-action Beauty and the Beast coming out in March. The 30-second spot debuted during the Golden Globes on Sunday, and it let us hear what Emma Watson’s singing sounds like!
She sings some of “Belle (Reprise)” in this trailer, and it sounds pretty good so far. Granted, we’re not sure what exactly to make of it — reportedly, Disney has had the cast both pre-record songs and sing live on the set, and we won’t know which was used for any given song until someone dishes after the movie comes out.
The trailer is a short version of a lot of what we’ve seen in previous trailers, with some new footage cut in. The scenes with Belle and the Beast look great, and it looks like Disney has been able to film a fine pitchfork mob. Still not sure about the CGI castle servants, but they might be growing on us.

Before the Golden Globes, the movie’s official Twitter account put up a new poster for the movie, which includes all the characters and some terrific wigs. More than anything, though, the overwhelming smugness coming off Gaston tells us this vehicle is headed in the right direction.
