The Top Picks of CES 2017

In case you missed it, here were 15 of the best products at the show

As is tradition, the tech industry is ringing in the new year in Vegas. CES 2017 is just wrapping up, and we’ve been roaming the booths trying to find the coolest tech coming to store shelves this year and beyond. While this year had a heavy emphasis on smart home devices (Alexa controls your life now), there was plenty else for us fawn over at this year’s show.

Best TV: LG W7 Signature

CES has always been a big show for televisions, but the competition was hotter than usual this year. Samsung introduced QLED technology that could someday rival OLED, while Sony announced their first OLED TV in quite a few years. But, none of them wowed like the LG W7 Signature, a bendable television thinner than a smartphone. By putting the processing components in the included soundbar, LG was able to create a TV so thin, mounting it to the wall looks like putting on wallpaper. Needless to say, the picture quality is equally amazing.

Best Appliance: Samsung FlexWash + FlexDry

We know, Samsung hasn’t had much luck with washers lately. But, unlike their top-load washers, their front-load washers and dryers have been performing just fine — so much so that Samsung is doubling down on both. The FlexWash + FlexDry is a package deal that allows you to do two loads of laundry at once, both at different settings. The washer has a small top-load cylinder for small loads and delicates, while the dryer has an air-drying rack for garments that can’t be tumble dried. That should mean a lot less time spent doing laundry on the weekend.
