Vnyl Has a Whole Selection of Records from Classic Disney Movies

You know Beauty and the Beast is in there.

Vnyl got its start in 2015 on Kickstarter by curating monthly subscription boxes of vinyl records, but surprises aren’t the only things they have in stock. Vnyl sells records, too, and they’ve recently added a new section to their store — one full of songs from Disney movies, including Beauty and the Beast.

We’re not talking about the new movie coming out next month — that’d be quite the coup to have those songs in stock so early. So, you won’t get the new Ariana Grande/John Legend rendition of “Beauty and the Beast”, but the record Vnyl is stocking has both the Celine Dion/Peabo Bryson and Angela Lansbury recordings, along with “Belle” and “Be Our Guest.” The record itself is a nice add to the collection, too, with Belle in her golden gown on the front.

It’s hard to top Beauty and the Beast‘s music (argue with me), but Vnyl is also stocking records from AladdinCinderellaSleeping BeautyThe Little MermaidThe Jungle Book, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. To be clear, all those are from the original animated movies — looks like that’s going to be an increasingly important distinction to make in the next few years.

Each record is $23, but fair warning — it seems you do need to make an account with Vnyl to view their store and make purchases, although there’s no need to sign up for one of their monthly subscription boxes.
