Bart Simpson Now Has an Official Bicycle, and You Can Buy It

The Simpsons has teamed up with State Bicycle Co. for a whole bicycle collection.

The pedal power of State Bicycle Co. is meeting the peddle power of The Simpsons. The two are joining forces to create a whole line of Simpsons-themed bikes and accessories. Hey, it’s not skateboards, but we’re not complaining.

The marquee additions are the Chromoly steel bikes patterned after the show. The Color Block bike has a white frame with the familiar Simpsons palette of colors in blocks — you can make out Marge, Homer, Bart, and Lisa, but it looks like Maggie stayed in the crib. The Skull & Cross Bart bike is green with a single red stripe running up top — exactly the same as his skateboard. There’s also, as promised, a Bart skull and crossbones on the front of the bike.

Both designs get a full complement of accessories, including handlebar tape, jerseys, saddles, foot straps, caps, socks, and water bottles. There are also assorted pink donut accessories, including a backpack destined to be stuffed with pink donuts.

But, by far the coolest part of the collection is the yellow design, which has outlines of the show’s dozens of characters. This includes another bike, but the best part is the jersey. Someone needs to get the attention of someone at the Tour de France, because this needs to be brought in as the new yellow leader jersey immediately.

The accessories range from $13 to $70, while the bikes cost $200 for the frame and $500 for the frame with gears and wheels. Everything is available now from State Bicycle Co.
