These 10 U.S. Cities are Where Star Wars Fans are Most Likely to Find Love

May the Fourth (and love) be with you.

If the Millennium Falcon were a city, it’d be numbers one through ten on this list. Alas, the ultimate Star Wars love station remains inaccessible to the earthbound, so we’ll have to settle for these ten slightly more boring United States cities instead.

For May the Fourth, the unofficial official Star Wars holiday, online dating service Plenty of Fish dug deep into their data and found some good news to spread to the Jedi (or Sith!) faithful. The best news? Looking at their 13 million plus users, they found that people who listed themselves as interested in Star Wars were 61 percent more likely to end up in a relationship. I’m no statistician, and there might be some confounding variables in there somewhere I guess, but that seems pretty significant.

But what does that have to do with you? Here’s the real good stuff — the places to go where the people understand you. Plenty of Fish has these ten cities as tops for Star Wars fans:

  1. Los Angeles
  2. San Antonio
  3. San Diego
  4. Las Vegas
  5. Orlando
  6. Houston
  7. Phoenix
  8. Jacksonville
  9. Colorado Springs
  10. Chicago

Of course the movie capital of Los Angeles is number one. If there’s any surprise here, it’s that Vegas isn’t higher — it’s the one place where you could walk around dressed as a Star Wars character at all times and no one would bat an eye.

But hey, we’re just happy to report that if you’re out to find your Han or Leia, they’re probably a lot closer than a galaxy far, far away.
