We’re Giving Away a 55” TCL Roku TV to Celebrate Cut the Cord Day

You can cut the cord with a brand new 55” Roku TV from TCL!

July 7 is Cut the Cord Day, a celebration of the imminent demise of cable companies. OK, maybe they’re not actually going anywhere, but any excuse for a party is a good one, right? Good enough for us! We neglected to bring a cake, but that’s OK, because we’re bringing something better — a brand new TV.

We’re giving away a TCL 55″ 4K S-series Roku TV, combining excellent resolution with HDR10 compatibility and one of the best smart TV interfaces in Roku. With Roku streamlining their TV operating system even more this year, it’s easier than ever to find anything you want to watch — using only streaming options, of course!

Don’t want to take a chance on the freebie? You can still join the party. If you grab a TCL S-series TV from Amazon between July 1 and July 9 and use the code CUTTHECORD at checkout, you’ll get another piece of the cord-cutting puzzle — an antenna you can use to bring in local networks. Specifically, that’s the Winegard FlatWave Micro FL-2000 Digital HD TV Indoor Antenna, which can pull in local broadcasts within a 30-mile radius. It’s a freebie that gives you free TV, and if that’s not in the spirit of National Cut the Cord Day, I don’t know what is!

TCL has also put together a great guide for helping you cut the cord, so check it out.

  1. I would like the cable companies to offer their entire tv package (including PPV ,OnDemand, and DVR) via an internet streaming option.

  2. I want to cut the cord because I’m tired of having wires as my background “decorations” fingers crossed!

  3. I used to have all the cable and all the movie channels. No more. We cut the cord. The packages I had cost way too much for so little programming that I actually wanted to see. Even the expensive “extra” movie channels offered only a handful of new content each month, and most of that was not interesting.

  4. We cut the cord years ago, saving a lot of dough but limiting ourselves to a handful of local channels with unreliable reception. This giveaway would solve our problems by winning a smart 4K TV and investing in a Winegard indoor antenna. Thanks for the chance.
