Canada and Australia getting all the rad sweets while we in the States get left out in the cold has become something of a running theme, but it looks like we’re finally about to pull in a W. The Krispy Kreme Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup doughnut that came exclusively to Australia about a year ago is finally coming to the United States, but it sounds like you won’t have much time to get in on the good stuff.
In a rare example of an internet petition actually accomplishing something, Krispy Kreme has announced that the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup doughnut will come to “participating shops in the U.S.” starting August 4. Eventually, you’ll be able to check to see if your local Krispy Kreme is one of the participants here — best of luck to you!
Krispy Kreme has locked up a deal with Hershey’s to make the magic happen, but sadly, all good things must come to an end. Krispy Kreme hasn’t said exactly how long the doughnuts will be available here, but they are saying this peanut buttery goodness will only be around for a limited time.
