We like to think Pokémon would be pretty happy to know that they helped their fellow little monsters here in this world. Marie Terry is a tattoo artist based in London, and for much of last year, she did a pretty awesome thing — Pokémon for Pets! For £60 or more she would tattoo a Pokémon, with all money going to Celia Hammond Animal Trust and K9 Partners. That money helped fund no-kill cat and dog shelters, something I’m sure Pikachu and his friends would be down with!
If you want to see more of Terry’s work (she specializes in geek and gamer tattoos!), be sure to follow her on Instagram here! Otherwise, check out her Pokémon work below — with a few exceptions, they were all done for kitties and puppies!
Here’s one of her most recent works of art — a gorgeously detailed Sylveon!
A little fairy magic for the ankle in the form of Togepi!
Love the little bubbles with Totodile.
This one wasn’t part of the charity program, but we couldn’t leave it out — this might be the ultimate Pokémon tattoo!
We’d be just as happy as Pichu if we knew we helped save some puppies!
Super cute flowers to go along with Eevee!
A truly legendary tattoo.
Honestly, one of the few times we haven’t been grossed out by Lickitung.
Leafeon also gets the floral treatment!
Who better than Arcanine for a tattoo that could help out some cute dogs?
Flames: always a good look for tattoos. Chandelure is no exception!
Wonderfully clean tattoo of Gardevoir!
Love the sunburst behind Espeon!
Bit of an odd tattoo!
Pokémon fans know Cubone is the most metal of all tattoos.
As we said: flames are always a good idea.
Honestly, any of us would probably need a nurse if we tried to get a tattoo.
You know, Gliscor would probably make a good tattoo artist. He might cause a little more pain than the average artist, though.
This Bulbasaur means business!
And Jirachi, happy because its wish of safe and happy kitties and puppies is coming true!
