Need to Remix Your Audio Style? Here are 4 New Headphones Coming Out of CES 2018

Tech is fashion — with so many headphones vying for our attention, they can’t help but become better looking to compete! If you don’t feel tied to one brand, you have your pick of styles and looks, from the sleek, clean look of Beats to Ariana Grande-approved cat ear headphones. Like we said, you have choices.

Now you have more! At the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas this week, a handful of companies introduced brand-new on-ear headphones, all with their own signature style. Here’s a look at what needs to be on your shopping list!

Audio-Technica QuietPoint Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones

I’ve been a fan of Audio-Technica headphones for a long time, but I’ll be the first to admit that they’ve never scored any points in the looks department — a shame, because they make some of the best sounding headphones out there. This year, they’re getting with the times with some slight design tweaks and a big push into wireless. The crown jewel is the QuietPoint active noise cancelling headphones — you can tell from the name that they’re made to compete with the wireless Bose QuietComfort headphones that I guarantee you’ve seen if you’ve been on an airplane any time in the last few years. As long as the usual Audio-Technica sound quality is there, these look promising — Audio-Technica has given these headphones a much cleaner look than usual for them, which is huge considering they’re very much meant to be worn in public (where there’s noise to cancel!). They’re expected to be available in March 2018 for $200.
