Sunday Amazon Deals – Switch Gear, Fitbit Alta Deals, and More!

Every weekend, we’ll cruise around Amazon to find a few good tech deals! Who knows, from time to time we might even spot some non-tech deals we think you might like! Don’t hold us to it.

Nintendo Switch case and screen protector

Got a Switch over the holidays? You’re most definitely not alone. But, the Switch is as much a portable console as it is a home one, so if you want to get the most value out of it, you’re going to want to protect it when you take it on the go. This carrying case from amCase can fit the system, 14 game cartridges, and the charger, and it’s half off right now at $10. With the money saved, you can tack on one of the most popular screen protectors on Amazon.

SanDisk Ultra 256GB microSDXC UHS-I card with Adapter

One other thing new Switch owners probably need — a microSD card! If you’d rather not amass a bunch of cartridges that need transporting and prefer the convenience of digital downloads, the Switch’s 32 GB of internal storage will prove woefully inadequate. Grab a 256 GB card — they’re more expensive at this capacity, but with Switch games generally taking up a lot less space than those of other consoles, this card could easily hold 20 to 25 games. SanDisk’s 256 GB card is just under $130 off right now, so it’s a pretty good time to snag one.

Board games

Two of our favorites — Codenames and Betrayal at House on the Hill — are discounted right now. Codenames is perfect for anyone who loves word games, and should be a big hit with anyone who loves playing games like Taboo. Codenames is a quick-hit team game, while Betrayal at House on the Hill tends to have longer rounds. It’s a blast, though — you and a group of friends slowly explore a haunted house by uncovering new tiles. It’s a cooperative game until the haunt starts, when one of the players becomes the leader of one of a number of supernatural threats! Codenames is $5 off, bringing it to $15, while Betrayal is getting a pretty huge cut from $50 to $32.

Fitbit Alta and Alta HR

Got fitness goals for the new year? The Fitbit Alta and Alta HR are great everyday fitness trackers that you’ll actually feel comfortable pairing with work, casual, or evening outfits. Fitbit’s stock bands look great, but there are a number of interchangeable designer bands made for the Alta you can buy, too. If you just need something to remind you to move every once in a while, the Alta should work well — if you want to tack on a heart rate sensor, the Alta HR is what you’ll want. For the regular version, we can’t help but love the stylish black and gold special edition, but if you want to save another $20, you can grab one of the other colors for just $100.

Anker USB Type-C 5-port wall charger

I don’t know about you all, but one of these multi-port USB chargers is pretty much non-negotiable now, especially if you need to charge a family’s worth of gadgets. This one from Anker can not only accommodate all those phones, wearables, and wireless speakers and headphones, it’s got a USB Type-C PD port to quickly charge the newer gadgets out there. All of the ports charge safely, ferrying only enough power to get your gadgets charged fast without damaging the battery too much. This one is $16 off at $40 right now, and we really love that it doesn’t need to be plugged directly into a wall outlet — a lot of other ones are too big and can block other outlets on the wall or on surge protectors.
