Ah, work burn out. It’s something everyone experiences at one time or another, especially if you’re a workaholic like I am. Stress, anxiety, exhaustion, they just seem like part of the package deal that comes along with being a living, breathing, hard working being.
Even if you love your job, you can still struggle with being tired and burnt out at work. They’re not mutually exclusive. Also, it can be such a commonplace thing to hear people you know talk about being stressed or exhausted at work that it can take you awhile to realize you’re suffering from this too.
Here’s how to recognize the signs, below, and what you can do to fix it so you can power through and be your best self!
So what exactly is work burnout?
- Feeling not very motivated at all
- Feeling like you’re incapable or struggling
- Feeling, well, rather miserable
- Feeling like you can’t really do anything right
- Having no energy
- Failing to see that your future is bright
Even though you may think it’s ok because it’s just about your job, you’re wrong. Feeling like this at work can permeate every aspect of your life.
