Is Your iPhone Slow? Let’s Fix It

Sooooooooo slowwwwwww. That’s something you definitely don’t ever want to ever be saying in regards to your iPhone, but if this is you, let’s fix it now. Here’s how!

Clear Your Cache

Clearing your cache is definitely a tech term, but it’s not hard to understand if you haven’t heard this term before! It’s like taking out the trash.

Basically, when you visit a website, your phone (and your computer too) store a copy of some of the website’s files to enhance your experience and load the website faster if you visit it again. So, you can see how all that adds up and can slow down your phone.

Now that we have that out of the way, here’s how to clear your cache on your iPhone. Head over to Safari in your Settings, then scroll down to where it says Clear History and Website Data. That’s it, you’re done!

Make Sure You’re Up To Date

I know, updates seem annoying and never ending, right? Well, they do have a purpose!

Every single iOS update that Apple releases really helps speed things up while keeping you more secure, and also improving upon previous issues.

To make sure you’re up to date with your iPhone’s operating system, head to Settings, then click General, then Software Update. You’re all set!

If You Don’t Use It, Delete It

If you’re like me, I’m sure you have a zillion apps on your iPhone. Did you know they can really slow you down though? So, if you don’t use it, delete it!

Head on over to Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage, and then click on your app you want to delete. At the bottom it will say Delete App.

Another thing you can delete while you’re in here is the backup for any photos you previously deleted (yes, your iPhone stores a copy for awhile). That will free up more space too!
