I don’t know about you, but I have a whole graveyard of my old iPhones, and they’re taking up space in my junk drawer. I partially keep them all around in case I suddenly lose or destroy my current iPhone X and any of my backups, and I also partially keep them around because I can’t be bothered to find the time to sell them.
Apparently, there are uses for your old iPhones if you’re finding yourself in the same situation!
Protect Your Home
iPhones are well known for their sophisticated cameras. Put that camera to the best use and turn your old iPhone into a device to protect your home. A security camera!
There are several apps on the market right now that you can download that will help you turn your iPhone into a security camera. That way you can keep an eye on your home when you’re not around. Personally, this is my favorite way to repurpose an iPhone.
Turn It Into A Remote
I love my Apple TV, but I completely hate the remote. It is definitely the worst thing Apple ever designed. Sorry, not sorry.
Well, with the Apple TV Remote app, you can kiss your troubles goodbye as you download this to your iPhone and replace that pesky remote.
VR is still all the rage, and if you get a pair of Google Cardboard Goggles, along with their Google Cardboard app, you can turn your old iPhone into your own personal VR goggles.
