Casey Anthony Breaks Her Silence About Her Daughter’s Death

I’m sure you know who Casey Anthony is. Dubbed “America’s Most Hated Mom”, she also became one of America’s most well-known people after her two-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony disappeared.

Her trial was widely publicized, and now she’s breaking her silence about her daughter’s death. Buckle up for this one.

Here’s a quick rundown of the case you need one.

June 16th, 2008, was the last day Caylee was last seen alive. Casey, Caylee’s mom, never even reported her daughter was missing until July 15, 2008. Yeah, that’s like a MONTH later.

Casey told police that Caylee vanished with her babysitter Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez after she was arrested for charges of child neglect.

Fast forward to October 14, 2008. Casey was officially charged by police for first-degree murder. She had the audacity to plead not guilty, and on December 11, 2008, Caylee’s remains were discovered in the woods close to Casey’s house.

The case that followed was on every headline, in every newspaper, and was paid attention to the whole world over. The trial started on May 24, 2011.

Next, we recap what happened at the trial.

At her trial, she was portrayed by prosecutors as the ultimate party girl who frequented clubs, even after her daughter disappeared.

Nancy Grace, a Cable tv talk show host, called her “the most hated mom in America.”

Miraculously, Casey Anthony was somehow found not guilty of murdering her daughter Caylee. She got off without being charged with aggravated manslaughter, aggravated child abuse, and even first-degree murder.

The only thing pinned on her was lying to police, so she served three years in jail for that one.

America was completely stunned that Casey was found not guilty, especially after all of the strange details that came out, coupled with the fact that she waited over a month to report her daughter as missing.

So, where is Casey Anthony now?
