Jenelle Evans Took To Social Media To Finally Announce Her Divorce & Here Is Everything You Need To Know

Oh, Jenelle Evans. This girl has had quite a year, and it’s far from over. Let’s do a quick recap on what the heck happened before we dive into all the current drama.

Back in May of this year, Jenelle got officially fired from Teen Mom 2 after her husband David Eason shot and killed their family’s French Bulldog (David has been banned from the show for a while now).

Jenelle shared on social media that she was devasted about her dog Nugget’s loss, while David bragged about what he did after claiming Nugget attacked Ensley, their 2-year-old daughter.

I think we all have been wondering why Jenelle even decided to stay with David after that.

Well, she finally came to her senses because she just took to social media to finally announce her divorce from him. You can see her entire post, below, and here is what she said:

“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life,” Jenelle started her post.

“Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes,” she continued.

“I’m starting that now. The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.”

Jenelle wraps things up by thanking her fans (I’m surprised she even has any left) and honestly, I can’t help but think this is all a show in hopes of MTV taking her back.
