Let’s Talk Teeth Whitening: Here Are All The Affordable Things You Can Buy To DIY

Here at Chip Chick, we write about products we love and we think you will too! Chip Chick has affiliate partnerships, which means we get a piece of the revenue from your purchase.

Let’s talk teeth whitening today! If you get this done at the dentist, it’s not unheard of for it to set you back $1,000 a visit. Or like $450 on the “low” end. Ouch.

Lucky for us, there are now a lot of affordable options you can buy to just do-it-yourself at home.

And they don’t suck or make your teeth feel sensitive.

Let’s take a look at some of my favorite picks that will get you a dazzling smile without wiping out your bank account!

AuraGlow Teeth Whitening Kit $48.50 on Amazon: This is the priciest option on my list, but it’s well worth the money, and it’s still significantly cheaper than going to the dentist!

This kit comes with two syringes of teeth whitening gel which means 20 treatments, a light that speeds things up so you can get a faster white, a mouth tray, and a little blue case to keep the tray in.

You need to use this once a day for 30 minutes to get results, and you do start to see your teeth getting whiter after using it just once.

Pro tip: I do find it easier to apply the gel directly on your teeth as opposed to putting it in the tray first, and a little does go a long way.

Luster Premium White, Pro Light Dental Whitening System $29.99 on Amazon: This next option in my experience is great for maintaining a whiter smiler or getting it over a more gradual amount of time.

This kit comes with whitening toothpaste, mouth rinse, a stain lifting serum, and a whitening light.

You’re supposed to use the mouth rinse to prep your teeth before actually doing the whitening, then do the whitening steps, and then use the toothpaste to help keep up your results.

HaloSmile Starting At $19.99 on Amazon:

This is basically nail polish…that you put on your teeth. It is completely tasteless and it also helps protect your teeth from coffee and red wine stains while you are wearing it.

So if you are looking for a completely instant white and you can’t wait, pick HaloSmile. It’s a mineral-based, chemical-free powder that you apply directly to your teeth and it’s ready in pretty much 8 minutes.

It’s not that hard, I promise, you just need to be a little patient applying it!

Luster Premium White, AM & PM Anticavity Kit $14.97 on Amazon: This kit is another great gradual whitening option, and it’s as easy as just brushing twice a day!

There is a special toothpaste you use in the morning and a special one you use at night. There is also a sonic toothbrush included with this kit!

Rembrandt Deeply White + Peroxide Whitening Toothpaste $9.98 on Amazon: The final pick on our list includes peroxide whitening toothpaste in a two-pack.

This also strengthens your teeth, restores enamel, and prevents cavities so that’s a win, win, win all around!
