The first thing that comes to mind when I think of airport security, is the hassle of having to take my laptop out of my bag and putting it into one of those cold hard plastic containers to be scanned. I can't help but get nervous that my laptop is going to get scratched or bumped around in those nasty gray containers. We have always been a fan of Speck's assortment of cases for everything from your iPhone to your laptop. So it was nice to see that they recently updated and released new Notebook cases including updates to their AftPack, TuckPack Sleeve - which we previously reviewed, as well as releasing updates to the PortPack Shoulder Bag and CorePack. We have seen A LOT of iPhone/iPod Touch cases in our day but this particular one has to take the cake. When it comes to Lego - we heart them, we just can't help it. So when we came across these absolutely adorable movie posters that featured Legos as the stars, we just knew we had to mention it. These 21 movies posters have been recreated into something very special, albeit it looks better than the originals, than with those boring actors. Speck's SeeThru Hard Shell Case for Macbooks are very popular, so it was only a matter of time that similar type cases popped up. InCase has their own hard shell case for the 13" Macbook as well. Theirs features a frosted hardshell exterior, raised rubber feet, thermal vents, and a welcome soft-touch coating. But out of all of them, the best company we stumbled upon is icon cases. They offer a wide range of cases that are both stylish and well made. Their attention to detail is astounding from their metal clasps to their stitching. We were also impressed by the thinking that went in to them. These cases are truly made for all types of people - the busy, athletic, or classy man or woman and they don't lack in style or design.

We're not sure who copied who, but Techshells protective cover for the Macbook and Macbook Pro looks awfully similar to Speck's SeeThru Hard Shell. The purpose of these cases are obviously to keep your Macbook in good condition - and they look cool. I have a red SeeThru Hard Case from SpeckTec and I am constantly getting compliments because of it.
