The first thing that comes to mind when I think of airport security, is the hassle of having to take my laptop out of my bag and putting it into one of those cold hard plastic containers to be scanned. I can't help but get nervous that my laptop is going to get scratched or bumped around in those nasty gray containers. Got some money to burn? Well then may I suggest the Gucci Tessuto Computer Case, or rather it's a sleeve. The case retails for $490 and according to Bergdorf Goodman it will fit a laptop of 14 1/2"H x 1"W x 12 1/2"D in size. I'm not sure about you, but to me that seems like a very strange size. For a 10" netbook or 13" laptop that is way to big and for a typical 15" laptop too small... but I guess if you are into labels and don't really care about the details then you won't mind.

There are cases for just about everything now, including peripherals, and Speck has just released a bunch of cases for your portable WD My Passport Essential Hard Drive. All of our gadgetry is precious and Speck obviously thought that protecting your external hard drive was essential too. They not only released one case but two sets of cases featuring different patterns and design styles. The TwoZip keeps things tidy by having a soft zippered enclosure to protect your hard drive. Whereas the TechStyle is a bit more hardy and is a molded semi-hard case to that it can really withstand a long drop.

The iPhone may have replaced a few portable gaming devices for some people because it just does it all. So how apropos that a Gameboy case was created to house your iPhone 3G, 3GS, or iPod Touch, and iPod Classic. The case itself is made out of double layer of felt for extra protection and could probably double as a nice buffer to remove finger prints. MusicSkins is a company that is similar to GelaSkins, however their primary difference is that they specialize in skins that feature musicians. Where GelaSkins concentrates on being 'Mobile Art', MusicSkins concentrates on making your fave music artist a skin for any device you may have. There are even skins for your Guitar Hero/Rock Band Controller and Seagate hard drives. I have been a big fan of GelaSkin for sometime and I even tweeted not so long ago that I was already on to my 4th laptop, yet I was still using the same GelaSkin. So would the MusicSkin hold up to that type of challenge? Would it be just as good quality? I had used similar skins prior to GelaSkins and wasn't all that impressed. I was either disappointed by the quality, long term durability, or just the selection of designs. For many fashionistas, carrying your laptop in an ordinary laptop case made my just any computer accessory manufacturer isn't enough - they want to strut their laptop inside of a designer bad. Griffin has really pulled out all the stops with their latest batch of iPhone cases. They are called the Elan Form Etch and feature warm tones that range from earthy to retro to abstract designs. All the cases come in a brown, black, and white coloring and display images of stars, a cassette tape, or even branches of trees to name a few. The Elan Form Etch is not your typical hi-gloss hardcase shell  but rather high-quality leather adhered to a polycarbonate inner shell. Another day, another Michael Jackson product. This one is a Michael Jackson iPhone 3G case , which I have to say is incredibly detailed! It features the artist drawing of Michael in what looks like his 'Bad' days. The case displays his image on the back and partially on the front along with what I guess is the artist's signature because what is there, doesn't spell Michael Jackson. The case itself is made of a hard shell plastic which should protect your iPhone 3G from any bumps or smacks. The best part is the price - which is only $5.99!

I guess the Louis Vuitton computer sleeves are a big hit because they are now available for 13" and 15" notebooks in the House Classic Damier Canvas design. A few months ago they released the same sleeve but with the classic LV monogram design. The contsruction is made of microfiber lining, golden brass pieces, a foam-lined protective laptop compartment, and the Louis Vuitton inventeur signature embossed inside the case. As always, luxury doesn't come cheap and the 13" version of this case retails for $670 and the 15" retails for $715. For that price, I don't suggest leaving this on the backseat of a Taxi.
