We have written about a lot of cases over the years but this one 'outshines' the rest in ingenuity. Quirky’s Beamer is that latest invention from the Quirky community that is an iPhone case with a built in light. It serves a dual purpose - not only will it help you look for things in the dark, but it also works as a flash for your pictures. Never again will an iPhone pic be dim. Made of a hard durable plastic case, turning on the light is easy. Just press the silicone button once and the light will remain on for 10 seconds. Press it twice and it will just ...
The Traveler Series from idox is yet another minimalistic stand for your iPod Nano, iPod Touch or iPhone much like the iBend. The idox will keep your device upright so you can more easily enjoy videos, Web content, speakerphone calls, photos, podcasts and more. Perfect for airplanes or pitching on a table at Starbucks as you wait for your date. The idox retails for $24.95 to $34.95 respectively.
If you are a big fashion house, you better have some laptop sleeves or computer carrying cases in your arsenal to be considered relevant. Burberry is not a stranger to computer cases and now has added the Burberry Check Laptop Sleeve to your winter trench coat ensemble. It is accented with patent trim and sealed with a zip-around closure and the famous Burberry Logo lining. It will keep a 13" laptop both safe and trendy. The Burberry Check Laptop Sleeve retails for $275.
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of airport security, is the hassle of having to take my laptop out of my bag and putting it into one of those cold hard plastic containers to be scanned. I can't help but get nervous that my laptop is going to get scratched or bumped around in those nasty gray containers. With Speck's new line CorePack Fly, these TSA approved bags let you carry your laptop through security without unpacking it for a hassle free travel experience.
Got some money to burn? Well then may I suggest the Gucci Tessuto Computer Case, or rather it's a sleeve. The case retails for $490 and according to Bergdorf Goodman it will fit a laptop of 14 1/2"H x 1"W x 12 1/2"D in size. I'm not sure about you, but to me that seems like a very strange size. For a 10" netbook or 13" laptop that is way to big and for a typical 15" laptop too small... but I guess if you are into labels and don't really care about the details then you won't mind.
Well if if you can't wait for Twilight New Moon you can at least stare at Jacob, Bella, and Edward's face on your iPhone, iPod, or Nano. Skinit has a collection of Twilight New Moon Skins available for purchase through Hot Topic. The skins will cover the front and backside of your devices and for $12.99 you can just peel off and replace an Edward skin with a Jacob skin if you still can't make up your mind for as to who you prefer. Each Skin retails for $12.99.
Now this is what we call making a custom skin. IaPeel is not another skin company like the many that are out there now. No, this company takes the concept of iPhone, iPod, and Nano skins to a whole new level by letting you make custom ones at home on your printer. Just like the custom greeting cards and other random personalized things you can print on out on your printer - now you can print out a skin at home too. Each kit includes software to make your own customized skin as well as blank sheets for you to print them on to and then apply to your device. You get several templates included in the kit, just in case you make a mistake. This sort of reminds me of when I used to print CD labels from
There are cases for just about everything now, including peripherals, and Speck has just released a bunch of cases for your portable WD My Passport Essential Hard Drive. All of our gadgetry is precious and Speck obviously thought that protecting your external hard drive was essential too. They not only released one case but two sets of cases featuring different patterns and design styles. The TwoZip keeps things tidy by having a soft zippered enclosure to protect your hard drive. Whereas the TechStyle is a bit more hardy and is a molded semi-hard case to that it can really withstand a long drop.
The iPhone may have replaced a few portable gaming devices for some people because it just does it all. So how apropos that a Gameboy case was created to house your iPhone 3G, 3GS, or iPod Touch, and iPod Classic. The case itself is made out of double layer of felt for extra protection and could probably double as a nice buffer to remove finger prints. It retails for $25 bucks over at Etsy, which is kind of pricey for a homegrown case but still it has a charm that other cases don't have.
This new device is not particularly pretty looking but it's certainly useful. The Technocel PowerPak is a portable battery and home charger combined into one. Put away all your other chargers and power your USB devices at home, in the car, at the airport, or anywhere else. The PowerPak has a built-in battery reserve that will refuel your gadgets whether there is a wall outlet available or not. The interchangeable tips that are included with the PowerPak provide compatibility for 95% of all handheld USB devices. The PowerPak will be available starting November 1, for $49.99 on Technocel.com, as well as at a variety of retail locations, including all ...
A couple of months ago we wrote about the iBend, a handy iPhone/iPod stand that easily fits into your wallet. Well it looks like the iBend has gotten itself all fancy with its newest collection – the iBend Artist Series. It features 12 new, out-of-the-box designs and cool looking graphics. The iBend still easily fits into your wallet but now its a whole lot prettier. The iBend Artist Series comes in

MusicSkins is a company that is similar to GelaSkins, however their primary difference is that they specialize in skins that feature musicians. Where GelaSkins concentrates on being 'Mobile Art', MusicSkins concentrates on making your fave music artist a skin for any device you may have. There are even skins for your Guitar Hero/Rock Band Controller and Seagate hard drives.
I have been a big fan of GelaSkin for sometime and I even tweeted not so long ago that I was already on to my 4th laptop, yet I was still using the same GelaSkin. So would the MusicSkin hold up to that type of challenge? Would it be just as good quality? I had used similar skins prior to GelaSkins and wasn't all that impressed. I was either disappointed by the quality, long term durability, or just the selection of designs. MusicSkins offers up music artist centric designs but also Fashion, Art, Obama, Models, Charity, and Media designs. Music designs are broken up by genre and give consumers the full spectrum of whatever music taste they may have. Pop, Rap, Reggae, and Rock all there plus a few more.
The LEGO Carrying Case from Digital Blue may be for kids, but I think adults will love it just the same. This stylish, LEGO carrying case is a perfect fit for your Mp3 players and digital cameras. The case is sturdy with a zippered design and wrist strap to make it easy to carry. The Lego Carrying Case retails for $14.99 at Amazon.
The folks behind Gorillapod have just launched Gorillamobile for the iPhone 3G/3GS. This allows for movie‐viewing, talking, video‐recording, and photo‐taking from any perspective. It comes with four interchangeable quick‐release adapters, two removable 3M adhesive clips, a universal camera adapter, and a slim line iPhone case. The Gorillamobile for 3gG/3GS retails for $39.95 and is available now.
For many fashionistas, carrying your laptop in an ordinary laptop case made my just any computer accessory manufacturer isn't enough - they want to strut their laptop inside of a designer bad. Fortunately for them if they are a Juicy Couture fan, then they have a selection of 9 laptop cases to choose from. Pricing ranges from $98 to 128 and there is a large selection of color and style to choose from. For example, available in teal or black, there is the quilted nylon laptop case with embroidery on the left. There is also the very current pink plaid laptop case, as well as a selection of velour laptop cases, including one in Fuchsia with a big bow. That last one might just be our favorite.
Lets see, in the span of two months there has been an Ed Hardy cellphone and Flash Drives. Never-mind they have an assortment of iPhone cases as well. To add to their tech lineup are now mice and mousepads. They all feature the Ed Hardy signature tattoo designs and you have several choices to choose from as well. If you really feel the need to be Ed Hardy color-coordinated, Amazon is even offering a limited edition pack that includes a matching mouse, mousepad, and flash drive for $80.60. The Ed Hardy Mousepads will only set you back $14 bucks and the Ed Hardy Limited Edition Optical Mouse will cost you $28. From your head to your toes you can be dipped in Ed Hardy wares and now so can your computer....thrilling.
Griffin has really pulled out all the stops with their latest batch of iPhone cases. They are called the Elan Form Etch and feature warm tones that range from earthy to retro to abstract designs. All the cases come in a brown, black, and white coloring and display images of stars, a cassette tape, or even branches of trees to name a few. The Elan Form Etch is not your typical hi-gloss hardcase shell but rather high-quality leather adhered to a polycarbonate inner shell. Basically you get two levels of protection along with Griffin's EasyDock design. The Elan Form Etch iPhone cases retail for $34.99.
Another day, another Michael Jackson product. This one is a Michael Jackson iPhone 3G case , which I have to say is incredibly detailed! It features the artist drawing of Michael in what looks like his 'Bad' days. The case displays his image on the back and partially on the front along with what I guess is the artist's signature because what is there, doesn't spell Michael Jackson. The case itself is made of a hard shell plastic which should protect your iPhone 3G from any bumps or smacks. The best part is the price - which is only $5.99!
I guess the Louis Vuitton computer sleeves are a big hit because they are now available for 13" and 15" notebooks in the House Classic Damier Canvas design. A few months ago they released the same sleeve but with the classic LV monogram design. The contsruction is made of microfiber lining, golden brass pieces, a foam-lined protective laptop compartment, and the Louis Vuitton inventeur signature embossed inside the case. As always, luxury doesn't come cheap and the 13" version of this case retails for $670 and the 15" retails for $715. For that price, I don't suggest leaving this on the backseat of a Taxi.
