Slappa Loren Laptop Bag Review

Slappa recently unveiled a new line of ladies laptop bags. From that collection we received a review sample of the sleek and sexy Loren bag. The bag's Designer style, normally found in handbags, merges shape fully with business practicality. Nothing about the appearance of this bag says it is for laptops. It simply says minimalist elegance. It is the anti-type to the blaring pink women's laptop bags we often spot on the market today. This is a bag that could seamlessly transfer from boardroom to boardwalk. We say minimalist because there aren't a lot of frills on this bag. The outside has two pockets, one on each side. One of them a zippered pocket, the other a slide in pocket. Inside there is a large padded plush lining laptop pocket. Opposite of that are a few little pockets for holding various small items. The largest would hold an iPhone and it's charger. Mostly I found myself just dumping stuff in the vast void space between. There is lots of room there and it is amazing how much i could fit. I actually lost my camera for two days in it.

Incase and Apple Japan Give Away Lucky Bags Filled with Mac Goodies

Apple is not one to give away anything for free, so I was surprised to learn they would be having their Japanese store participate in a tradition called fukubukuro, also known as Lucky Bags. Every time New Years rolls around, Japanese retailers fill these 'lucky bags' with secret items and then they are sold at discount. Incase will be providing the Lucky Bag to Apple this year and they in turn will fill it with a total value of more than double the cost of the bag. The bag will retail for $350. Some Lucky Bags may also include a voucher for a new MacBook. It's almost worth it ...

ThermaPAK Laptop Cooler Review

Laptops heat up. And mine is no different. Every night, I perch on the same place on my couch almost every night to sit and do work (and by work I mean go on Facebook) with my notebook computer on my lap. After a few hours, I find myself sweating, and realize that my computer is close to overheating. I have to take a break from work, which often results in channel flipping and a phone call or two. By the time I get back to my work, I have completely lost my train of thought, or if I decide to cool off by putting on some shorts, I run the risk scorching my thighs from the heat of my laptop. A constant problem, I was excited to give the ThermaPAK HeatShift laptop cooling pad a try.

MacBook Decal of Super Mario Holding the Apple

Super Mario never really went away but he is back in a big way with the release of the newest Super Mario Brothers game for Wii. But that doesn't mean those with a Mac lose out on all the fun. The Apple MacBook Super Mario decal depicts Mario looking a bit sinister grabbing for the Apple logo. Similar to the Snow White Wicked Witch decal we wrote about a few weeks ago, this one to makes your MacBook standout like never before. The Super Mario Holding the Apple Decal retails for $14.99 over at Etsy.
