Despite the ongoing recession, many companies seem to refuse to acknowledge the fact that most people can't afford blinged out gadgets anymore. The latest perpetrator is Computer Choppers which is offering up a 24" plated in polished platinum iMac with a custom cut Apple Logo inlayed in the back of its housing. Even the keyboard and mouse have been plated in platinum to match. You'll have to call for pricing if you are interested.

We're used to seeing iPhone rip-offs, but this one is a bit much. This one is almost what an "iPod Phone" could have been if it had ever existed before the iPhone came out. Either way, Apple - get your lawyers crunching, because this is definitely infringing on more than a few copyrights. For starters, the pink flip phone has the Apple logo on its front, along with the label "ipod water". It also has "iPod" punched out on it's back. Oh, and did we mention that it's pink? Here we go again another diamond encrusted cell phone but this time it's the iPhone 3G. We mentioned Knalihs Athem in July for their diamond encrusted Nokia 8800 Saphire Arte and now they are at it again. This is a first for the 3G version of the iPhone and Knalihs Athem is taking the bull by the horns and encrusting the phone with 475 diamonds that weigh in at 3.75 carats in total.
