Their sleeves are trendy and fashionable and will certainly make anyone look at the sleeve your laptop is in, rather than be curious about what's in the sleeve. Macally PowerTune Do-It-All iPod Accessory

Macally's PowerTune is one of those iPod accessories that just make sense to get. Designed for the iPod Classic and 5th generation iPod, the PowerTune is a portable speaker that also moonlights as a battery charger. But that's not all folks, it also doubles as a protective case and a stand. The speaker itself has two built-in 500mw speakers with volume control, while the device recharges your iPod's battery from power drained from a USB port. The PowerTune retails for a reasonable $39.99, which is probably less than the total you would spend if you bought all four types of accessories.

TuneBase FM Transmitter for iPhone & iPod Review

Despite the fact that the iPhone has been out for almost a year now, FM transmitters designed for the iPhone have been slow to arrive on the market, though there have been a few non-approved ones that unofficially work with the iPhone. Belkin's new TuneBase FM is one of the first FM transmitters to be officially iPhone compatible, as well as compatible with other current gen iPods. The package comes with a big selection of adapters to fit different ipod models including the 4G and 5G iPod, the iPod classic, all three generation Nanos, and the iPod touch.

SpoofApp Offers Caller ID Spoofing for the iPhone

If you're brave enough to own a Jailbroken iPhone, then SpoofApp is one app you'll want to try out. The software lets you call other phones using whatever caller ID you choose. The software also lets you disguise your voice in a fake male or female voice, and it also lets you record your phone call. We tried it out ourselves and had a good laugh at the victim's expense. You get 5 minutes of spoofing free with the app, but additional minutes will cost you with prices starting at $10 for 60 minutes. But the price of a good joke at someone else's expense? Priceless.

Macbook Air Case Made of Cowhide Skin Is Making Us Lose Our lunch

You know those people who have to have all their accessories covered in leopard print? Well this is worse. Wrappers has a new Macbook Air sleeve made of Cowhide print ultrasuede skin with microfibre lining on the inside. The case retails for £40.00 and each case comes with a "unique pattern". We're not sure if this is real cowhide or fake, but either way we are pretty disturbed. Update: It's fake, phew. To be fair, the company behind this case does have a selection of other nice cases worth looking at ranging from corduroy materials to linen in many different colors and designs, none of which will moo at you.

How to Really Fix Your Overheating Macbook Air

I was taken with the Macbook Air from the moment Steve brought it out on stage. But after I finally brought it home from the Apple Store my love affair ended really quickly. I was experiencing system hiccups, freezing and overheating. I couldn't watch a YouTube video or work on a Word document without the system hanging up. Might as well have spent less money on a EEE PC with better performance. But I decided to hold out and figured that a firmware update would remedy the problem. Indeed two firmware updates did come a long and did reduce the performance lags a little bit but my Air was still misbehaving. Then I discovered this ...

Smoy iPod Case Comes with a Photo Frame

It seems we like to put pictures in and on anything these days, just another example of this is the Smoy Photo iPod Case. The Smoy iPod case is a slip cover case made of brown vinyl with a window frame you can slip photos into. The frame size is 15/16"w x 7/8"h which isn't very big but just big enough to put something meaningful. The vinyl is thin enough to operate without you removing it from the case. Not bad for only $28.00

Yes we all know about the drill with iPod docking stations, they are either alarm clocks, speaker systems or some other contraption that docks, charges and syncs your iPod. However what if there was just a dock that was simply a docking tray for your iPod without the bells and whistles. Well the miConnection has a collection of unique docks that let you rest your iPod in different crazily designed trays with slots that can connect to your PC or Laptop to sync and charge the player. InCase’s Colorful Hardshell Cases for Macbooks

Speck's SeeThru Hard Shell Case for Macbooks are very popular, so it was only a matter of time that similar type cases popped up. InCase has their own hard shell case for the 13" Macbook as well. Theirs features a frosted hardshell exterior, raised rubber feet, thermal vents, and a welcome soft-touch coating. The case is available in black, white, red, or purple for $49.95, making it the same price as Speck's but with less color choices. However we already like InCase's sleeker design and that it has a soft-touch coating sounds promising as well.

iTrip Auto SmartScan & RoadTrip SmartScan Review

When I hit the road for a long car trip, I always bring my Nano in order to hear some decent music. I get so tired of the same rotation of music on the popular local stations in the city. So I like to spice it up with variety. I hadn't had much luck however listening to it decently in the car with other FM transmitters in the past. I was still using that archaic method of connecting my iPod to a the cassette tape and then inserting it into my tape deck. But just like 8 tracks, cassette decks in cars are becoming a thing of the past and getting harder and harder to find. So I was extremely excited when I received the Griffin RoadTrip SmartScan and iTrip Auto SmartScan to review. Off to the rental car company I went...

2G iPod Shuffle Knock Off Sports the LCD Display We Always Dreamed Of

This "Clip-Style" MP3 Player is just what the 2G ipod Shuffle Should have been, or rather what we wish it would have been. This MP3 player takes the same design cues and form factor as the Shuffle, but it throws in an FM radio and an LCD display. Granted, the display looks kind of cheap, but we cant help dream that one day Apple will throw a display on to the Shuffle and even maybe an FM radio. Until then, there will be cheap Asian knock-offs on eBay to inspire us.

Paul Frank Rubber Cases for iPhone and iPod Touch

We haven't had any exciting iPhone/iPod cases to report about lately but luckily that has changed. Over at Apple.com they just released two cases by Paul Frank. You know, the designer who is famous for the monkey cartoon image of Zoom Julius.  So now there is a rubber case for the iPod Touch that features the famous Paul Frank Mascot on the back. The other case is for the iPhone and is an image of a "Slap Bass", also on the back of the case. Both cases look pretty hip and certainly would give your iPhone/iPod Touch a cool factor. Not that they needed more of one. Both cases retail for $29.95
