Even the biggest haters are starting to become Mac lovers nowadays. Cool Mac Tees is offering up a selection of custom made t-shirts with catchy Mac sayings such as "Viva La Mac", "Mac Geek Girl", "Get a Life, get a Mac", and "Mac Chick". You can get the logos on t-shirts, sweatshirts, baby tees, hats, clocks bags, etc...whatever you like best. They even have one that fits for your dog. Afterall, who doesn't want to walk around with a shirt saying "Mac Princess" ... or not.

Boot Camp is a very powerful tool but it has its limits. For instance, if you're using the Windows side of the computer, you can't read, write and access the Mac side. That is where the software Mac Drive comes in, it allows you to read/write and access your Mac drive from your windows drive, and it does a good job of it. However, the picture isn't complete with MacDrive alone because if you're on the Mac side, you still can only read the Windows side but not delete or modify files. Paragon's new NTFS for Mac OS X completes Boot Camp by allowing the Mac side (Leopard is supported as well) to read, write and format all of your NTFS windows drives. I tried it out and installed in a cinch. The most time consuming part was the requirement to restart the computer. After that, all of my NTFS hard drives are now both readable and writeable. I can't begin to describe how helpful this is. So often I have files that I need to access and modify but they are on the Windows side.

Cases! We seem to be in undated with cases! Unlike some of the previous iPod/Nano/iPhone cases we reviewed recently, this is not a clear shield for a change and doesn't require any solution or steady hands or a squeege to put it on. XtremeMac's TuffWrap Plus for the 3G Nano is a practical and lightweight case that does a great job of keeping your 3G Nano protected through out the daily grind. Combining the best of both worlds, the case is made of the standard silicone you're used to seeing on many other cases. The silicone of course helps protect from bumps and scratches and contours to the shape of the Nano. Touch sensitivity with the silicone was great - I didn't experience any lag and my Nano was left looking sporty yet protected from any harm. The front part of the case is made of an impact resistant screen protector that protects the Nano's screen from any damage but still lets you enjoy a pleasant viewing experience. This screen protector is easily removable and can be so that it can easily be washed. I've had many iPod cases, and the ability to take off and wash the screen is integral. After awhile these cases get so gross, especially in the screen area and it's not always so easy to clean under them without have to take the whole case off again. This takes care of that.

Surely solar power is the way of the future, but even on your bag?! The Logan bag from Noon is a VERY high end leather messenger bag that has solar panels on the outside of the bag to allow the sun to charge your iPod or Cell phone. There is a built in power supply that charges your cell phone or iPod via the solar panels on the outside of the bag. Regardless if it's cloudy or rainy the solar panels will collect UV rays. On a super sunny day it will take up to 6 - 8 hours to fully charge the power supply that would last for a couple of days. We can go into detail about the pockets and other details of the bag but do we really care?

The 2G shuffle is a pretty tough little MP3 player, but that doesn't mean it should be neglected and left unprotected. Case-Mate has some classy custom-fitting case for the Shuffle made of Italian Pebble stone leather. Each of the cases also include a convenient keychain. The best part is that they are available in several colors, including red, pink, white and blue, to name a few. So if you ended up buying a silver shuffle and regret it, you don't have to feel so bad.

We've mentioned CallWave's services a few times in the past, specifically their need visual voicemail and voicemail-to-text services. Unfortunately, until now Mac users have been left out in the dark a bit, in that they couldn't take advantage of all of CallWave's features. Griffin Technology had loads of new goodies to share and one of many of them that caught our eye was the PowerDock Charging Base. Many of us own more than one ipod, and with so many Apple toys to charge, it can get kinda unruly with wires around the home or office so the PowerDock is there to keep things neat and organized. The PowerDock will charge 4 iPod models at the same time, including an iPhone. There are 8 Universal Dock inserts included to fit your iPod which should certainly handle most generations. After all, the family that plays music together charges together. No pricing is available yet but we're thinking this will be one hot item once it hits shelves.

There are a couple of solutions out there if you want to be able to splish and splash with your ipod, whether it's at the beach or in the shower. A few months ago we reviewed the InvisibleSHIELD for the iPhone which is a clear film that protects your baby without hiding its good looks. Well BodyGuardz is another company taking a stab at making clear film protectors for your many Apple gadgets. BodyGuardz was nice enough to provide us with a transparent skin for the Nano and iPhone. We like to be different and not be too repetitive here at Chip Chick so we decided to test it on the newest generation of the Nano that I personally have named "Skittles"! Similar to the InvisibleSHIELD, in the BodyGuardz box I found a clear film for the front and for the back of the Nano, and the iPhone as well. BodyGuardz includes two protectors for your gadget. Which is great in case you mess up applying it the 1st time around or the second one can work as a replacement after your 1st one gets gunky. One difference between the BodyGuardz and the InvisibleSHIELD that I noticed right away, is that the BodyGuardz protectors looked like it would completely covered my Nano this time around - just as it promises on the box. Application of the BodyGuardz was similar to the InvisibleSHIELD. Solution in a spray bottle is included to wet the adhesive side of the film. There is also a squeegee included to smooth out air or water bumps once the film is applied to your Nano. I soaked the adhesive side of the film and then smacked it on to the backside of the Nano first. I carefully smoothed out all the edges and made sure every part of it would stick. Then I let that dry and put the front on.
