Heaven knows I'm in love with my iPhone, but that said it does fall short in some areas, especially when it comes to "fun" stuff like organization. The @Task for iPhone Widget tries to compensate for the iPhone's current lack of task organization features with a slew of tricks of its own. Using @Task you can scroll through a list of your own projects and tasks. Tasks included descriptions, priorities and schedule completions. You can also add notes to current tasks and email team members with status updates. Currently you can try out @Task with a 30 day free trial. Undoubtedly over the coming months we'll see more services like @Task pop up, hopefully ...
July 4th is just around the corner, and we're all thinking the same thing. What happened to our 4 day weekend now that it falls out on Wednesday. Anyway, here is a way to show your patriotism by dressing your ipod up in a Napa leather case covered in the stars and strips. The case, designed for the 30GB ipod, also includes screen and scroll wheel protection, a swivel belt clip, and it can be customized with your name all for $24.99 from Case-Mate.
iLugger has a selection of durable water resistant nylon bags that are designed to carry around an iMac, a Mac Display, or a Mac Tower. The cases come with heavy foam padding, a removable shoulder strap, an extra handle for support and removable backpack straps on certain models. The iMac cases even come in different colors including Gray, Black Blue/black, or orange/black. While we wouldn't recommend using the iLugger frequently (unless you're the Hulk), still it does make the idea of carrying your PC around with you not so crazy to consider.
Griffin's iClear Photo is a great way to customize your ipod with something meaningful, while keeping it safe and sound from harsh elements. The polycarbonate case is see-through so that you can slip in and place a photo under the case. What's great about this case also is that you can keep changing the photos, so you if you break up with your BF you can easily replace the photo with your new guy. Griffin's iClear Photo retails for $19.99 for the Nano, and $24.99 for the ipod with video.
Inspired by a trip to Germany's Wartburg Castle, Eric Foxman took his love of Macs and went ahead and built a Z-scale model railroad inside of an old Mac Plus. The model is complete with a moving train as well as several tour guides and groups. Why a Mac? "I chose to use a Mac Plus [since] it could only be done in a Mac. Windows graphics are not up to the job of making anything that looks real enough to simulate a virtual model railroad." (Source: Macworld Magazine, July 2007)
Case-mate's Handle-it has been designed for the Macbook Pro owner who tends to often run off in a hurry. The handle-it is a premium leather and aluminum handle crafted for the Macbook and Macbook Pro. It also doubles as a passive heat sink with fins to promote better airflow - which you'll appreciate if you're Macbook Pro is as hot as mine is. Plus, it also works as an ergonomic lift. Case-mate's Handle-it retails for $49.99.
We've seen shirts, jackets, hats, bags and even gloves for your ipod. Now get ready for these. Vickerey has bootleg pants, shorts, tank top, capris, and a built-in shorties skirt all designed to hold your MP3 player. The ipod /mp3 apparel is available in many colors and pricing ranges from $55 to $96.
We're not sure who copied who, but Techshells protective cover for the Macbook and Macbook Pro looks awfully similar to Speck's SeeThru Hard Shell. The purpose of these cases are obviously to keep your Macbook in good condition - and they look cool. I have a red SeeThru Hard Case from SpeckTec and I am constantly getting compliments because of it. That is mostly because people don't seem to realize that it's just a cover, they're like "Oh My God, is that a red Macbook!" Anyway, Techshells are available in blue, pink, green or purple, and last but not least - there is a pink Bling Bling Techshell covered in crystals. ...
It's not often that we get excited about an FM transmitter. As a matter of fact, the iTrip Pocket is the first FM transmitter we have ever gotten excited about. In general, FM transmitters just aren't the most exciting devices. They are just useful devices which serve the purpose of getting music off of your digital audio player and on to any system with an FM radio. I've owned a few FM transmitters in the past and well, they've all sucked. As a matter of fact I'd kind of given up on them until now. However, I'd never tried any of Griffins iTrips though I had heard good things about them.
When I spotted the new iTrip Pocket and noticed how small it was and how it looked to be a perfect compliment to the iPod Nano, I just had to try it. It turns out that it's quality and build are so similar to the Nano itself that one could be fooled in to thinking that it was an accessory that Apple produced themselves. Also, it unquestionably must be be one of the smallest FM transmitters available.
iHome's iH4P is just the right size for an ipod Alarm Clock. It's not too big, yet it's big enough to fit in a decent speaker and a bright LCD. It also does the usual stuff like charge your ipod, and it comes with a remote control as well. And now Pink lovers can rejoice, because not only is the iH4P available in black, but it's also available in pink. The iH4P ipod Alarm Clock retails for $49.99

There are skins for everything from your Laptop to your ipod to your XBox, so we guess it was just a matter of time before someone started producing skins for the Apple TV as well. iStyles has a selection of colorful skins to decorate your Apple TV with. From Mona Lisa, to green neon flames, to abstract paintings, overall there is a nice selection of skins that would certainly liven up your Apple TV's exterior. A matching skin is included for your Apple Remote as well and each package retails for $14.99. iStyles also has an interesting policy. They say that if the skin ever smudges, wears, fades or blurs, they will ...
The TEAC MC-DX220i Slim CD System is a pretty decent looking CD system with a vertical CD load system, a decent set of speakers with an output of over 20 watts all in a compact and slim size. Overall, though the system looks pretty ordinary, kind of like something you would see on a shelf in the electronics section over at K-Mart. But what caught our attention about the TEAC MC-DX220i is the fact that it also has a built-in iPod docking station for charging your ipod and playing music off of it. And it comes with a remote control that can access basic ipod functions. That and the FM tuner make ...
Do you talk faster then you type? Well you're probaly like most ordinary humans then. The iListen Transcription Solution for iPod with Video contains Mac Direct Dictation, Correction, Voice Command & Control and Transcription software as well as the XtremeMac MicroMemo for iPod with Video and a VXi TalkPro Xpress Headset/Microphone, so that all your voice recording and dictation needs are covered when it comes to working on your Mac. We're kind of skeptical about voice dictation, and this product seems to have mixed reviews. Regardless though, if you're looking for a complete voice dictation package for your Mac, for a somewhat steep $299, this will do it.
Brenthavens iPod Flip Case looks simple enough, but it's smarter then an ordinary leather case. Flip it over and its slot can be used as a stand for your ipod when you're watching videos. The case is available for the 30GB and 60GB/80GB 5G ipods in either black or brown Napa leather and it retails for $24.95.
The wall mountable iSymphony V1Blue is a relatively slim little system that manages to pack in a lot of punch feature-wise. It comes with a standard CD player, AM/FM radio, a clock radio, a wireless ipod dock, it can accept USB connections and it even has an SD, MMC and Memory Stick card slots for playing MP3 or WMA files. However, its most exciting feature though in our humble opinion is its bluetooth connectivity which allows you to stream music via A2DP, and you can even use it to connect to your phone to make conference calls via its built-in speakerphone. The V1Blue will alternate between Mobile phone and music with an incoming ...
Aside from being a trusty little music player, it turns out that your ipod has a lot of productivity potential waiting to be tapped. The iGadget application essentially turns your ipod in to an "iGadget" that lets you load driving directions, your outlook email appointments, contacts, tasks and notes, weather forecasts, movie showtimes, RSS News feeds, Daily Horoscopes, as well as text libraries and music listings all on your iPod. It also comes with software that allows you to back up folders from your pc on to your ipod. Overall, with iGadget it looks like you can almost throw out your PDA - that is if you haven't already, because PDAs are ...
The week wouldn't be complete with out a cool new ipod dock. Our latest fab ipod dock is the Audio Pro Porto that is available in either black or bright red. We dig that the Porto's vertical rectangular design is a deviation of design style from the run of the mill ordinary ipod docks. It's also designed to be portable, so it comes with a handle long-life chargeable battery. And aside from promising great sound quality for a little guy, the Porto also has an FM tuner. The Pro Porto ipod dock should be available soon but no word on pricing just yet.
Pylones, a store chock full of unique and cheerful home and office accessories, has selection of really funky 1G ipod nano, ipod shuffle and 5G ipod cases that are covered in all sort of designs and patterns ranging from butterflies, to dollar bills, to the Mona Lisa. The cases each come with a belt clip and they protect the scroll wheel as well. They each retail for $20.00. Pylones also has a selection of colorful matching mouse and mousepad sets with fishes, hearts or flowers, which each retail for $35.00. Overall, all of these computer accessories are a refreshing deviation from the normal computer accessories we're used to seeing.
Make training easier by slipping your iPod Nano into the Belkin Sport Armband ($25). The hand-washable and water-resistant accessory will help you keep the beat - and keep the faith that breast cancer can be eradicated. For each one purchased, $3 goes to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Leather, canvas, glitter, yarn... heck, we've even see furry ipod cases, but this the iPod rebel is somehow the first denim ipod case we've come across. Designed to fit the ipod with video, the case is made of washed denim, it has a built in screen protector, a belt loop, and an earbud pouch. The ipod Rebel case retails for $25.99 and is available in a choice of light, medium or dark denim. And look at it this way, even if you can't fit in to your jeans anymore - at least your ipod can.
