The Motorola ROKR E8 aka MOTOROKR is Motorola’s latest attempt at a good music phone. Personally, I’m sick of having to carry around a cellphone and an MP3 player. I refuse to join the the masses and get an iPhone, which we all know does it all. So I was hoping the MOTOROKR E8 would finally give me the best of both worlds. At first glance it was certainly different looking but let’s see if its looks translated into a decent music phone.

Still in production, they are about almost done with making as they claim, the first “iPhone 3G with 24Kt yellow gold housing & Bezel.” Pish Posh diamonds are so passe, this is what all the kids want - something that emulates a gold brick from Fort Knox. Computer Choppers was even blunt enough to say how the materials this time around on the iPhone 3G were less than stellar and made it tougher for them to plate the “poor” quality plastic Apple used. Testing is still being done for those who want engravings and other customizations before it is plated, as well as how reception will hold up with the coat of gold on it. We <3 the Blackjack II. It’s a great Windows Mobile smartphone that already comes in ordinary black and a lovely red. Now it’s available in pink/white and blue/white with a modern design pattern covering its back. The actual keyboard of both models is white and the photos of the pink version do make it seem a bit purpleish, but still we are quite excited. Both phones are available for just $99 after rebate from AT&T. Bring on the powerful pink smartphones!

This pink Samsung slider isn’t just another stereotypical pink phone with watered down features. Instead it’s a high-end, feature packed phone that happens to come in pink too. The Samsung Soul SGH-U900 unlocked sports a 5 mega-pixel auto focus camera with advanced face detection technology, HSDPA support for 3G data, a micro SD slot, an FM radio with RDS, and the awesome Magic Touch DaCP Morphing Keypad that uses haptic feedback and features icons that automatically change according to function.
