A while back we covered Ed Hardy's line of crystal-studded Icing iPhone cases. Now Ed Hardy has a new line of iPhone cases in their Black Label collection, and this collection is aimed at the highend. These cases are also covered in Swarovski crystals, but each design is hand made. Alternatively, you can send in your device and their designers will attach the crystals directly on to your phone (any type of phone), instead of as a case. You get to choose a pattern you like and a designer will then contact you and send you a digital proof for a truly custom piece. The Black Label collection ...
MetroPCS already offers super cheap unlimited voice plans, and now they are the first wireless carrier in North America to offer unlimited international calling for just $5 a month. That includes calls to over $100 countries. In the meanwhile, other carriers like AT&T and T-mobile only offer international discount calling rates for around $5 a month. MetroPCS is certainly becoming the carrier to beat in terms of value, but it's a shame that both their coverage and selection of handsets is pretty limited.
When it comes to traveling internationally, getting data access is a royal pain in the a$$. Basically you have two options: 1) Get a super expensive international data plan and mobile card from the likes of AT&T, which is likely to run you up hundreds, if not 1000s of dollars when traveling. 2) Or you can sign up for prepaid wireless data in each country, which is almost as costly and also happens to be very inconvenient. This is why so many people end up using wifi hotspots to connect to the internet while traveling around the world. But that can add up to be pricey as well, and also inconvenient since not every place you'll go to will necessarily have wifi, and you'll have to pay for each new hotspot that you connect too. Granted, there are international wifi plans offered from Boingo, but they still don't cover a good majority of the hotspots that you'll use while traveling internationally.

This new Motorola AURA ad featuring David Beckham is both overly dramatic and creepy. At first glance, we actually thought it was a coming attraction for the new Terminator movie. Silly Motorola, you actually paid the big bucks to David Beckham to do this promo. Really, in a world of G1s, iPhones, and Palm Pres, does anyone really care about the AURA? Either way, this ad does not make us want to buy a cell phone, but atleast it's a step up from having some barely dressed woman showing off a phone.
