AT&T has announced the Samsung Propel Pro, a successor to their popular Samsung Propel messaging phone. The Propel Pro sports the same type of form factor with a slideout QWERY keyboard. But under the hood things have really gotten a make over. For starters, the new device is running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard. Other features include wifi, a speedy 528mhz processor, aGPS, A2DP stereo bluetooth, and a built-in 3-megapixel camera with autofocus. The Matrix Pro sports a metallic finish and curvy top and bottom. Unfortunately the Matrix Pro's screen tends to attract fingerprints and smudges, so you might want to keep a wipe handy. Overall, it is not the most attractive phone in the world, but definitely pleasant looking, especially considering that many phones which manage to fit in two keypads end up being pretty fuggly.

Way back when we had did an extensive review on the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism "fashion" candy bar phone, we were pretty impressed with the features of that phone and soon after we found out that there would be a flip version available.
