Compact Cube is an All-In-One Desktop Audio System

This cubilicious system from Amadana houses three high quality speakers, a CD player, FM & AM radio, and an alarm clock. Nothing cutting edge there, except what is really tantalizing about this cube is its sleek and compact design which is available in a choice of red, black or white, each with a LED clock. The black one has Chocolaty black and red controls, and the white one looks good enough to mistake it for something that came out of Cupertino.

Thermaltake’s Xray Drive Bay with Beverage Holder and Cigarette Lighter

Thermaltake's Xray 5.25-inch Drive Bay Kit has got to be the craziest PC mod ever. It has a slide out beverage tray that will hold soda cans, and it also has a cigarette lighter for charging cell phones and other similar gadgets. This is definately crazier than even the USB beverage chiller. But if you have an empty drive bay, and you want to prove to your friends just how truly nerdy you are, for $8 this will surely do the job. (Source: DL.TV Episode 88)

Stephen Johnson’s Coffee Table PC

We thought that the Powerdesk with a built-in computer was pretty wild, but this computer masquerading as a coffee table is even cooler. This hybrid design by Stephen Johnson has a TV Tuner, a 160GB hard drive, and an extra-special LCD that displays weather forecasts. And the computer is water cooled, so there is no need to worry about melting any remotes or magazines that you might have resting on top of it. This piece of furniture can even record TV and stream it to your TV via Wifi. Me think this would be the ultimate media center PC for the living room, not too mention a great conversation piece. Pricing ...

Aluma Design’s PowerMac Picture Frame

One reason Mac Addicts are addicts is because Macs are esthetically beautiful. Take for instance the PowerMac's with their perforated high-grade aluminum enclosure. There is no other computer like it available today (except for a few PC enclosure imitations). Aluma Design has taken the perforated high-grade aluminum from the Powermac and used it to create an art framing system, a table, a wall panel system, and a mirror. Because what better way to frame art, than with art itself? (Please don't send me hate mail - I love PC's to!) (Source: MacAddict Magazine, August 2006)

Hi-Grade MicroDMS P60 Media PC with TV Tuner Attempts to be Mac Mini Competitor

There is no questioning the fact that the Mac Mini has a superior design compared to the Hi-Grade MicroDMS P60. But for such a tiny PC, this one isn't too shabby looking. The P60 sports a Core duo processor, 512mb of ram, an 80GB hard drive, a DVD burner, integrated graphics, Wi-Fi, and Windows Media Center comes pre-installed. Sounds very familiar right? So is there a chance of it one-upping the Mac Mini? Perhaps it can because it has a spiffy analogue TV tuner which might impress a few. But not us, we think we'll pass on this one. T3 Magazine reviewed it, praised it for running very quietly, but they weren't crazy ...

Shell-Shaped PC Case

She sells sea-shells by the sea... wait that's not a sea shell, that is a computer case. The Lian Li PC-777 is one of the most unique computer cases we've ever layed eyes upon. It's made of light aluminum, has seven PCI slots, and two 12cm fans. Call us crazy, but we think this is beautiful and artistic, and certainly a lot better looking then boring old box shaped towers.
