The All Weather Cellular Camera is the only surveillance camera system in the world designed to send back captured footage over GSM cellular networks. So no matter where on the globe you set it up , it should be able to send back snapped photos to you which you can view online. Also, one of the biggest issues I've always had with surveillance cameras is all of the wiring involved. Luckily, the All Weather Cellular Camera eliminates any wiring. The device is totally wireless and cable free and it runs on a long lasting battery. Finally, the camera is virtually weather proof and it is rugged enough to withstand most weather conditions. You can pick the All Weather Cellular Camera up for $599.95.
A few months ago a we got a chance to see the Casio Exilim EX-S12 in action at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. Casio was there to engage both children and parents on how their new Dynamic Photo function works. Kids lined up with their parents down the block to get their picture taken and then placed onto a favorite book or picture of theirs. It was an ingenious idea that not only showed off the Dynamic photo function but also the simplicity of photo-editing on the fly without a computer – something that perfect for busy parents looking to entertain their kids.
The Casio EX-S12 has many more features than just the Dynamic Photo one – it also has Tracking AF, Makeup Function, HD Movie Function (1280x720 pixels), 2.7-inch wide TFT color LCD, 3X Optical Zoom, and a newly-developed Exilim Engine 4.0. The body of the camera is super slim and light at only 3.9 Oz. It's the perfect camera to grab and go and will slip into any pocket or purse very easily. It is also available in many colors: black, green, pink, and silver. So not only is it small and compact, it is stylish too.
With all the new HD video recording capabilities, it has never been a better time to jump on the DSLR bandwagon. And whether you already are a pro-user, or are starting out, than the LCD you'll want to hook up to your DSLR is the Xiview LT-42WX70. Granted at $2,399.95, this new LCD TV is a lot more expensive than your average LCD, but this one has a color space that is wider than typical HDTVs with an 100% sRGB color space and 96% Adobe RGB coverage. It also promises to allows you to see the subtle colors, details and textures of high resolution photos taken on your DSLR. Plus, ...
After a recent break in at my family's vacation home, I set out to look for some sort of surveillance equipment to keep an eye on things while no one is around. I took in to consideration that I wanted some sort of DVR device that would hopefully catch the thieves again in the act, in case they should try to come back. I called the folks over at Brickhouse Security and they worked with me to figure out what would be the best surveillance system to use in my situation.
Understanding my concern that having something flashy, might get the actual surveillance system stolen, they chose a DVR camera ...
I'm not sure what would possess me to spend $399 on a flashlight? But I guess if it was more than just an average flashlight I would. The Infrared Flashlight Video Recorder (say that 10 times fast
). Will not only light up your objects, but tape them at the very same time. It produces three levels of brightness and seventeen infrared LEDs illuminate up to 13' for recording in the night. "Video and snapshots are captured at 30 fps with 640 x 480 resolution by the color CMOS sensor (night vision footage will be black and white) with a 66° field of view." You will get up ...
Every holiday seems to be an excuse to market to the consumer this year, even Flag Day means marketing flags for all the world! So it's no surprise that everyone is pulling out all the stops for Mother's Day this year, especially since retailers are hurting so much. Sony has come up with some creative bundles aimed at moms. These bundles are stereotypically pink in orientation but they are high tech too. One such bundle is the Cyber-shot S980BDL in pink. It comes with a 12.1 megapixel camera with a 2.7" LCD display and 4x Optical zoom, just to name a few features. It is ...
What has to be one of the most unique marketing moves I have seen in awhile, Casio yesterday sponsored a workshop called ‘Picture This!’ to show off their newest feature for their latest camera the EXILIM EX-S12. It is the first digital camera to utilize Dynamic Photo function, a new technology developed by Casio that allows a subject (moving or still) to be photographed and placed into a new background without editing on a computer.

As if there weren't enough reasons to be paranoid, now you have to worry about whether or not that cigarette box lying near you is watching your every move. This wireless covert pinhole camera is designed to insert in to a Marlboro cigarette box or any standard cigarette box. The cam also has a wireless MP4 receiver. Set the MP4 receiver to the correct channel and you'll have an additional pair of eyes and ears to record and see around you. If this gadget seems familiar, that is because it's not the first time we've seen someone make a cigarette in to something unusual - the ...
Philips MIC4014SB/27 Retro mini Digital Camera is not the first mini retro digital camera we've ever seen, but there is something about tiny retro styled products that never gets old. Philips' version, weighs just 35 grams, but it also only takes QVGA resolution photos, which makes it almost a toy. However it also can record AVI files and it can work as a webcam. It's also rechargeable, so no batteries required. There is no word on pricing but we imagine it'd be cheap. But if you're looking for a more powerful mini retro-styled cam, check out the Minox Leica Mini Digital Edition Camera or the Rolleiflex Mini ...
The new Canon PowerShot SX200 IS packs in a lot of features considering that it's still just a compact camera. For starters it's got a 12x optical zoom to compliment its 12.1 megapixels. It's also capable of going up to IS0 3200, it has got a 3.0" LCD screen, an optical image stabilizer, and for those who dig HD - you can record HD video with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The SX200 IS also has HDMI output so you can connect it directly to your TV. Design wise, it's got a somewhat traditional and boxy looking design which might not appeal to everyone, but it does come in ...
The Tissue Box Hidden Camera DVR is definitely one of the better places to hide a spy camera. After-all, who would suspect a DVR to be hiding underneath their Kleenex? This tissue box has no giveaway wires or pinholes yet it still manages to film a resolution of 720x480 at 30fps in full color in the light, and in low light/dark conditions it can even film in black and white. It's also got a 6 hour rechargeable battery, which should be long enough to see what the babysitter is really doing when you're out. A remote control is included for stealthily controlling the DVR from a far. The Tissue ...
Vivitar is known for their affordable digicams and after recently being purchased by Sakar, they are finally starting to show off their new lineup. Amongst their new selection of ultracompacts is the ViviCam 8027 which especially caught our attention because of its very retro design that sports a metallic body complemented by a leather like finish that is available in black, red, or yellow. Feature wise the camera packs a 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 2.4" lcd screen, 3X optical zoom, antishake technology, a movie mode and red eye reduction. No word on pricing but we imagine it will have a $100 price tag or perhaps even less.
If you are planning on an adventurous getaway - then you might consider the Argus Bean 5 or 3 MP camera. This durable (not exactly fashionable) camera can clip on to your belt as you hike up that steep mountain. Its rubberized shell will withstand drops or inclement weather. The camera doesn't have much of a flash so you will be depending on the sun to get some decent shots through its 1.5" LCD display, but here is to hoping you only do dangerous hiking in the daylight. The memory is expandable with an SD Card Slot which is good considering it only has 16MB of onboard memory. The ...
Casio releases today the the EXILIM EX-Z29, this new model stays true to the user-friendly features of other EXILIM digital cameras in compact design and sound pricing. There is a 2.7-inch wide LCD display which enables users to easily navigate camera functions like EXILIM's of the past. The EX-Z29 has Anti-Shake DSP which reduces photo blur from hands that shake or fast moving objects. In Easy Mode you can never take a wrong photo as there are three easy menus ( image size, flash, and self timer). Casio’s Face Detection Technology maintains a sharp focus and the correct exposure for the human face. The Casio EXILIM EX-Z29 will be available ...
Just released is the Philips SIC4714BB/27 digital camera. It's not your typical looking camera and honestly I'm not sure if it's trying to capture the Flip Mino crowd or what ...but with just 1.3MP it's going to have a very hard time. It shoots photos, video, and records voice memos and it's small enough to slip into just about anything. Some of the features include a VGA resolution, a 1.5" LCD display and a SD expansion slot. No pricing is available yet, however I think you can find other ways to spend your money then on this useless item that doesn't do anything more than your cellphone does. Especially ...
Today Sanyo unveiled a whole slew of new Xacti HD camcorders, all of which are priced very competitively and are sporting a well rounded feature set. Some of the new Xacti cameras are surprisingly sporting a more traditional horizontal camcorder form factor, which is a deviation from the Xacti's previous vertical models. However some of the new cameras do sport Sanyo's traditional Xacti vertical design for those who prefer it - this way there is something for everyone's taste. Sanyo is calling these new cameras Dual cameras because they can take both still images as well as capturing video. That is nothing unusual, but they promise that the stills are ...

Remember those Ed Banger custom headphones a while back? Well it seems the man behind Ed Banger Records (Pedro Winter) is at it again with a custom Pedro Winter Panasonic DMC-G1 Lumix Camera.
