I practically sleep with my cell phone. Ok, not practically. I usually lay it down next to my pillow. That is why this pink fleece cell phone pillow, matching blanket and pajama pants are so suitable for me... except that they're actually designed for children. But at least I can buy the pillow! The blanket retails for $40.95, the Pillow for $24.95, and the pants for $42.
Sponsored Post: Mother's Day has passed, and now Father's Day is just around the corner. KlearGear is a great place to find unique geeky gifts for your dad - or any geeky loved one. In the past we've posted about several of KlearGear's one of a kind nerdy products, including the pocket protector wearing GeekMan Action Figure, the Desktop Air Conditioner for sweaty cubicles and their adorable or scary Desktop toppers for sprucing up your work environment. But the fun and super nerdy products available at Kleargear doesn't stop there. Some of our other favorites include the PC Drawer for $14.99 for stashing hidden goodies inside your tower. For female geeks, there is a big selection as well. Computa, the office god of computing helps protect from crashes, program hangs and ~gasp~ the dreaded blue screen of death. Then there is the funny, yet somewhat disturbing Technology Under Control Candle Woman which is a handcrafted candle of a woman standing on top of a destroyed PC. Yeh, we've all been there. Minus the flames anyway.
In high school I actually took a sewing class. I really don't know what I was thinking, but I assumed that if I'm good with electronics then I must be good with a sewing machine? Well, that ended up being a disaster. Perhaps, if they had the Bernina Artista 730E back then, things wouldn't have gone so terribly wrong for my sewing projects. The 730E has a big bright color touchscreen on it that provides on-screen help and graphic tutorials, all powered by Windows. The system does even more than just sewing - it also can quilt and do embroidery. It's packed with a stitch library with over 850 stitches, over 100 ...
Some of us plan what we're going to wear the next day, the night before. Others spend a good part of their morning in front of the mirror frantically figuring out if that shirt goes with that pants. Dress Assistant software for Mac or PC is here to make that process simpler. First you have to take pictures of your clothing, which if your wardrobe is anything like mine - that should take a while. The software then catalogs your clothing and allows you to order, combine and experiment with your clothing and accessories so that you can preview possible outfit combinations on your computer. That should save you a lot of ...

Perfect for those who want to be noticed in the club scene, GlowFur is available as Long Coats, 3/4 coats, sweaters, Bolero's, Jackets, Vests, as leggings, and our favorite - a top & bottom set. To give you an idea for the pricing, the sweaters retail for $95 and a long coat will cost you $975. But the look on their face when you show up wearing a GlowFur jacket? Priceless. While this item might be stretching the definition of gadgets, it's hard for us to resist something that looks like a shoe. These stilettos made of soft rubber are the classiest or rather, the least classiest door stops that you're ever likely to see. They are available in black or red and retail for $10.78.
Here is a gadget that McGuyver would approve of. The Belt Bottle Opener isn't made up of any fancy circuitry but it certainly is practical. For just £9.95, think of all the energy you'll save from never having to get up and head to the kitchen again when you want to crack open a drink. This one is definitely a must for bartenders.
Wrist angels are slim bracelets of a sort that have a quick-flick case on them stuffed with natural essential oils. When you feel the need to perk up, flick open the cover. Breathing in the Wrist Angel's natural vapors promise to work mysterious wonders on your body. There are three blends to choose from - "Soothing Stress", "Purely Positive" and "Powerful Pick-Me-Up". For example, "Purely Positive Angel gives you a boost of confidence, as and when you need it." We're a bit skeptical, but there are some people who swear by aroma therapy. Wrist Angel Kits retail for £5.95 and are available in black, hot pink, baby pink, khaki and biscuit.
Lately, whatever the latest pop-culture phenomenon is - it ends up on a T-shirt, like " Paula's Fallen and she can't get up" to " Team Aniston" or " I-pod, do you?" It looks like this trend has moved to underwear as well. It may not be as hot as saying "Free Katie," but I know a couple of geeks out there who wouldn't mind if their significant other or even themselves wore a "403 Forbidden" pair of bikini cut undies. I know, I know - only an item a nerd or nerd lover would be turned on by. But ThinkGeek certainly is banking on the double entendre here. The HTTPanties retail for $7.99 each.
Those old canvas shoes sitting in the back of your closet are back with a vengeance this Spring. But if you're not content with one of your old tattered pairs (apparently the dirtier and shaggier the better), and you're not happy with buying something that everyone else will end up wearing, Converse's home page will let you design your own unique pair. You can choose from a hi-top to a low, and you also get to choose the body color or pattern, the inside body color, the heel stripe color, the tongue color, the lining color, the rubber sidewall color, the racing strip color, the stitch color, and the lace color. And ...
MP3 Player sunglasses, watches, baseball caps, jackets, we've seen it all. Or so we thought. Designed to mount your MP3 player and cell phone, the Soundwalk MP3 Player Audio Sports Vest is a hand and ears free light-weight vest with built-in amplifier speakers on each shoulder strap for true surround sound. The vest is available with reflector lines for use at night, and it has a neat hands-free selector for switching between a MP3 player and a cell phone. So if you absolutely can't stand wires, and you don't care that you'll be nerdy enough to star in the next Weird Al video, try one of these on for size. The vest ...

Unfortunately, you can't purchase them, which might actually be a good thing. However, you can get gifts ideas by browsing through their selection. The "museum" allows you to view shoes by color, designer, type, and even use.

We think that the Kenpo iPod Jacket soundly ushers in the latest in fashion, style and durability to the growing ensemble of "technology clothing" and is able to hold its own in terms of functionality and features. The good folks at Kenpo were kind enough to give us an opportunity to demo one of their jackets and we decided to take them up on their offer. We received a woman's style jacket and our tester eagerly took the Kenpo iPod jacket through it's phases for two weeks.
The Kenpo iPod Jacket utilizes a patented fabric control system and operates a 5-button switch sensor with multiple capabilities that has a Play/Pause, Track Forward, Track Back Volume Up and Volume Down buttons which are located on one sleeve of the jacket. Additionally, this self-powered jacket requires no batteries and supports most iPods including the iPod Video and iPod Nano models. And the Kenpo Jacket is machine washable and dry cleanable when the iPod connector is removed. The Kenpo iPod Jacket is available in small, medium and large sizes and black and brown are the colors of choice. Additionally, the Kenpo iPod Jacket has a front zipper and snap enclosure, flap pockets and it's lining is made of Polyester and Polyester fill.
Our tester was impressed with Kenpo's 1-2-3 easy instructions and the over-all ease of use in setting up her iPod to the dock connector to the inside of the jacket. The initial set-up entailed connecting the included controller to the ribbon cable, then connecting the 30-PIN Connector (included) to the iPod, then feeding the headphone plug through the jacket's flap and then connecting the iPod and lastly, placing the controller and the iPod into the jacket's protective pocket. This whole process took less than 3 minutes.
If you want to be a little bit more hands-on with your home decor, but have little or no artistic talent (or maybe you just think it's cute), the Bendant Lamp is an easy accessory to add. Packaged as a completely flat 30" x 33" sheet, the Bendant lamp affords you the oppurtinity to be your own successful designer. The lamps' laser cut shades are made of powder coated steel and are free and flexible enough to bend and shape in any way your heart desires. Different shade angles result in different light arrangements--change them to suit your mood (or make the mood). True artistry doesn't come cheap but hey, maybe $165 is worth it.
