Open Your Arms to The Journey USB Flash Disk

Last year we reported that Matchbox 20 was ahead of its time by releasing music from their concerts on USB wristbands.  Journey seems to have caught on by also selling a USB Flash Drives with the Golden Gate Scarab and Journey Logo on it. However they missed the fact that some music should actually be included on the USB Flash Drive. I'm sure they could have atleast put a pic or 2 on the 256MB it comes with. $45 for just 256mb really is a rip-off, but if you are diehard Journey fan, then you'll probably want to add this to your stock pile of Steve Perry ...

Matchbox Twenty Selling Their Upcoming Concert Recordings on USB Wristbands

We've seen musicians release their music on USB keys, but never on a USB wristband. There is no question that in order to stay afloat these days, you have to be creative and figure out different new distribution methods for your music, and Matchbox Twenty just might be on to something with these wrist straps. For each of their upcoming concerts on their upcoming tour there will be a USB wristband available to purchase for $30 with that show's recordings.
