Here is yet another wacky creation from the imaginative guys over at SUCK UK. The upcoming Battery Lamp is a battery powered miniature LED table lamp with a battery situated at it’s base. It comes with a chain for turning the light on and off. It’s nice to see that someone is putting those old batteries to good use! Really, does anyone even use batteries nowadays?

Despite the odd name for a design company, the designers at SUCK UK have come out with a neat LED Capsule Message Clock that actually doesn’t suck at all. The clock is meant to hang on a wall or sit on a desk as it streams messages. It will also show the date and time like ordinary old clocks. Last week I found myself with a dilemma. I needed to reinstall Windows XP, and I had the CDs but I couldn’t find the product key. This has probably happened to a lot of people out there as well. I have a large USB key/ mini hard drive and once I place it in to a USB port, its big size doesn’t leave room for me to plug in other USB devices in to the empty ports near by, thus rotatable ports would be very helpful for me at least.
