The Model XS consists of a digital amplifier, stereo speakers, and a bass response below 80hz. There is also a built-in FM tuner, along with Bluetooth connectivity so devices like the iPhone and other smartphones and tablets can stream music to it. Finally, there is a 3.5 mm line-in cable included to attach external sound sources.

The Geneva Model XS is available for pre-order for $249.95. That is a bit on the pricey side for a portable speaker, but you can feel confident that these guys know what they are doing.

Sometimes you just can’t redesign a classic, but if you just add a new coat of color to it, it makes a classic piece of headphone gear look spanking new. That is exactly what Beats by Dr. Dre and Monster have unveiled today with five new colors for the Limited Edition Beats Studio Over-Ear Headphones. The new available colors include pink, blue, red, white, orange, purple, and silver.

Not much has changed overall in regards to specs, but apparently the need to have different colored Studio’s was very important to consumers. Companies like Colorware have been customizing Beats by Dr. Dre headphones for awhile now and have been successful at it. So why not just make it that way out of the box, with a warranty to back it up?

If you thought you didn’t see enough of thee Beats by Dr. Dre headphones walking around the streets… get ready to see a lot more… just louder and more bolder than ever.

Sony has two new series of laptops coming out, and both are quite lovely. In particular, we’re super fond of the new C series. The C series is available in two bold colors – neon red or thunder blue. Not only do these colors pop, but you’ll love their complimenting backlit keyboard. You also get to choose between 14″ and 15.5″ displays, and a Core i3 or i5 processor. The 14 inch model boasts a battery life of up-to nine hours with the standard lithium ion battery. The system can also be configured with an AMD Radeon 1GB graphics card and a Blu-ray player. Pricing begins at just $730.

Sony has also revamped their E series. Like the new C series, the E Series also includes both a 14-inch and 15.5-inch model which comes in a choice of midnight blue, glacier white, charcoal black and blush pink. There is also a 17.3″ model that comes in a choice of charcoal black or glacier white. But what makes the E Series design especially unique is the geometric patterns that appear on the lids, and on matching palm rests. The laptop is also fingerprint-resistant so that you wont see any unsightly finger smudges on your shiny new toy. Some features of the E Series include an LED backlit LCD screen, HDMI out, a choice of a Core i3 or i5 processor or an AMD E-350 Dual Core Processor. The system can also be configured with a Blu-Ray drive and Remote Play for PS3, which lets uses access content stored on the PS3 over the internet. Pricing for the E series begins at $550.

The E Series and C Series will be available at SonyStyle starting June on 19th.

So how many pockets does this piece of hi-tech fashion have? 18 pockets! Yes, 18 is what I said. You have never seen a jacket like this, I can guarantee you. Let’s start from the top down. Attached to the collar are several plastic holders that will hold in place ear phones. This area is called the CollarConnect. They are a tad bulky, and I could have done without them since they lay on skin when closed.

The interior of the left side of the trench consists of a pocket that opens via velcro and a half zipper. This makes for easy access to your cell phone. To the side of that is a pen pocket. Working my way downwards there is  a zipper iPad pocket. On top of that is another zippered pocket known as the Travel Documents Pocket. It is big enough to hold airplane papers o a passport. Just below is a Clear Touch ID Pocket, ideal for a drivers license or identification card.

On the outside of the exterior of the same left flap, starting from the top down, is a rather large pocket with zipper access and closed with a gentle magnet as well. I would use this for something you don’t get to much, or don’t want other people to get to, because it does lie right on top of the breast and may draw a few weird glances if you try to access it. I would put valuables here. I’m guessing that most pick pockets wouldn’t be able to pull this off too easily.

Finally, there is a hand warmer pocket that is very large and has a little velcro pocket perfect for keeping a bluetooth headset. It also gently snaps shut via a magnet.

Let’s move on to the right side of the jacket. This part of the trench lies across the chest covering the above mentioned flap. The interior side of it has an identical cell phone spot as the other side. This is great for the lefties out there. However, this one is more geared towards your listening device because it is aligned with the CollarConnect feature. Adjoining this towards the end, is a pocket for your sunglasses with an attached cleaning micro fiber cloth. Yes they thought of everything!

Working down from there is an envelope sized pocket called the Digital Camera Pocket which does fit a camera perfectly and even has a velcro pocket in it for a memory card.

Back to the right exterior of this trench, on top, a matching zippered and magnet pocket just like you will find on the left side. Lastly, is the large pocket at the bottom. It actually has a stretchy band meant for holding a water bottle. Awesome! To add to it, is an extendable key holder with a clip, and a pocket for tiny things like change, or lipstick.

Now that you are thoroughly impressed with all the features, you are probably wondering what it looks like with all that stuff packed in. Let me tell you, personally, it looks great. Hardly noticeable with a few exceptions. The iPad is visibly noticeable. Its pretty hard to hide such a large heavy item at the bottom of the jacket, and it pulls a bit. It is noticeable, that it is there, especially as you walk, the swinging on the legs is not very comfortable. Also, if you choose to put something large on the breast pocket, it does show slight buldge, but not much. So that is a few things to keep in mind, but it is by no means a deterrent to how awesome this jacket is. All of the contents of my purse fit in here without a hitch. It looked smooth, soft, and feminine.

Comfort wise, this is phenomenal. There is no pulling, bulging, or major discomforts. You can wear it the traditional trench coat style, or with the collar popped and the two flaps buttoned up for full rain protection. The waterproof  and stain proof material worked wonders in the rain storm, leaving all of my belongings dry, but what I really appreciated is that it was still a very breathable material. It felt great and did not feel like it was suffocating my skin.

There are plenty of ways to customize your look. The belt allows you to use the loopholes and belt in the traditional way, or forget the loopholes, and just tie it the European way. I favored that one as it allowed me a higher waistline. The medium fit my frame quite well. Remember, when selecting a size to allot room for all the things you will be carrying. If you go a size too small to get a tight fit, it may affect how the items you carry lay on you. The sleeves also adjust with a fashionable matching buckle as the belt does. It is also machine washable.

Conclusion

The versatile SCOTTEVEST Women’s Trench jacket goes for $150 and offers the quality you would expect and then some. Because it is so versatile, it would be great for so many things, among which are wearing it through airport security instead of bringing a carry on, backpacking or other touristy things where carrying a purse is tiresome (Hello amusement parks), and concerts where it is difficult to keep an eye on a purse. The list can go on, but I just love wearing it everywhere. The sexy bright red goes with every outfit, and makes it own statement. It also comes in blue, mud, and black. I felt like a spy, or Mrs. Go Go Gadget in this techie jacket with vintage roots. It is definitely a winner in my book.

The Good: Just about everything, streamlined design, massive utility possibilities, great style. Looks even better after a couple of wearings.

The Bad: The iPad does as not look inconspicuous as hoped, although it does fit.

The controls are OK, some maneuvers need a little bit to get used to. To get around, it is easily all controlled by the D-Pad with a jump action and your right thumb stick to move your view. You can also get around by swinging with a built in hook from your bionic arm, which is rather difficult. First you must aim and make sure the surface is able to be hooked, then you line up and fire your hook, from here you can either pull yourself right to the structure or grapple your way to a roof. You can also use it to swing from a light post to a monorail, the possibilities are limitless but when you have 5 or 6 guys hunting you down and shooting at you, trying to fiddle with this when you only have mere seconds to move can be challenging to say the least.

The weapons are pretty good, anything from your classic 9mm to a shot gun, You can only carry 48 rounds at a time on most weapons so if you are a trigger happy shooter type, I would seek out a cheat code for unlimited ammo and weapons. To aim you will see your circle target light up red when you are on target otherwise it will be white. You can zoom in by pressing your right thumb stick in. This would be a great feature for some other shooter games to put into play.

The graphics are decent during the game, similar to looks of the recent Capcom game, Resident Evil. One thing that I did not find to be helpful is in areas of radiation, lighting seemed to be an issue. Areas affected by radiation  are defined by a glowing blue color, these are areas you should not venture into, you will die within a few seconds. However due to the lighting, it is hard to actually tell which is a contaminated area, from above it is much easier to tell, but that does not help you when you are on the move on the ground.To get around there is no map, just your immediate target area is highlighted in the corner of the screen. You need to keep following your relays to stay on path. This was ok, but I still would prefer a full map feature. It is difficult when you are completely lost and cannot figure out how to get around buildings and radiation.

Sometimes classic games shouldn’t be messed with and even though it lacked the fancy schmancy graphics of this latest version. I still enjoyed the retro Bionic Commando much more. For those who are to young to remember the classic version, probably will enjoy this even with the frustrating movements of the bionic arm, those who remember the good ole’ days will probably not appreciate the remake. Bionic Commando retails for $39.79.

Good: As always Capcom doesn’t let us down with awesome graphics and a decent storyline.

Bad: Controls could be frustrating. Bionic arm was more of a pain than it was worth trying to get it to work, before getting killed.
