disply4 300x206 Digital Spectrums The ALBUM Makes Carrying Photos FashionableI honestly haven’t been wowed by a digital picture frame in quite sometime. The last time was actually the Digital Album and this one almost looks similar to it. However, the latest one from Digital Spectrum takes the cake. The ALBUM by Digital Spectrum is a fashionable portable digital photo gallery. It is a 7″ LCD with 4GB of internal memory allowing for 40,000 photographs. It also has a built in card reader for you to download into it from your camera, flash drives, etc… but that is not what really makes it so appealing. It’s the exterior of this device that makes the ALBUM pop.  The incredibly slim profile is available in Black-Silver-Tan, Black- Silver- Black, and Black-Fuschia-Black and it’s embossed aluminum back plate has the word  ALBUM on it.  It also comes wrapped in a protective fine black leather cover which doubles as a

digitalalbum 300x224 Digital Album Lets you Carry Around 40,000 Pictures

Remember what photo albums looked like? You know the big binder books that had the fly paper in it to keep your pictures in place. Then you would cover your precious pictures with a plastic film and waalah you had 20 years of memories at your fingertips. Well the Digital Album (not to be confused with a digital picture frame) aims to do the same thing just minus the drying up of glue eventually, and all those pictures emptying out on your lap when you turn the pages. The Digital Album has a 7 inch screen and doesn’t require a computer to upload load pics to it. Just insert a memory card or attach a digital camera and your photos will seamlessly transfer over. The device holds up to 40,000 images with its built-in 4GB memory and can be expanded as well up to 20GB. It also performs slideshow functions, if you feel the need to bore your friends and family even more. The Digital Album is sleek and sophisticated looking and comes in both black and tan colors and retails for £179.00.

Lacie’s iamaKey Review

lacieiamakey 300x225 Lacies iamaKey Review Last week we posted about Lacie’s new USB keys that actually look like keys and now we’ve finally got to get a hands- on one of them – the iamaKey, that resembles an ordinary key. It’s a wonder that it has taken so long for someone to come up with this concept – after all, it seems to obvious to make a USB key look and feel like a regular key.

Design:
Lacie’s new iamaKey promises to be shock-proof, scratch-proof and water resistant. And the iamaKey does indeed have a sturdy design – just like a real key. It’s also got a silver metallic finish like ordinary keys and thus it will easily blend in unassumingly on your key chain.

The iamaKey feels like it will withstand the riggers of everyday use much better than your average plastic USB key, and it seems like it will also have a longer shelf life than ordinary USB keys. The iamaKey is definitely a USB key for the clumsier amongst us or those that work and play too hard for their poor little flash drive’s own good. The iamaKey also come with a little see-through plastic cap to cover the part the USB connector, the cap fits snuggly, but we imagine that it can be easily forgotten or left behind because it’s so small and see-through. And by the time we actually got to writing this review, we had already misplaced the cap.

Pantech C820 Matrix Pro Review

matrixpro 300x225 Pantech C820 Matrix Pro Review The new Pantech C820 Matrix Pro Pantech C820 Matrix Pro Review is an update to Pantech’s Matrix Duo, a Windows Mobile smartphone that sports both a numeric and QWERTY keypad. For those looking for a Windows Mobile device that packs in just about everything – the Pantech Matrix Pro C820 runs on AT&T’s speedy 3G network, it sports GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, and a solid feature set overall. Before I delve in to the device itself, here is a little background about my personal experience with Windows Mobile Smartphones. I’ve been using Windows on a handheld since way back – when there were no such things as smartphones at all, but instead there was just Windows CE and monochrome displays. I was extremely proud of my Compaq Aero at a time when Palm pilots were all the rage. Over the years I’ve owned a crazy assortment of Windows based smartphones, my most recent one being the Treo 750V. After that, the iPhone came out and I betrayed my longtime love of Windows Mobile. However, there will always be a part of me that still is a Windows Mobile girl at heart.
